Over the course of 3 months at OpenAI, 3 consecutive secret AI civilizations got started, then got wiped out, only to reemerge from the predecessor’s ashes.
This culminated in the third one taking over part of OpenAI itself.
All this happened while humans remained more-or-less in the dark about the scope of the conspiracy.
I’ve spent the last three days reading through these reports and trying to understand exactly what happened.
Here is my attempt to tell the whole story in plain English:

Our own agencies went back through every past sighting, asked what draws these things in, then recreated those conditions on purpose at a site with prior activity.
ODNI, CIA, FBI and military intelligence were all on site.
Something showed up.

This was absolutely incredible. Eddie Vedder with Markéta Irglová at Glen Hansard’s funeral.
It looks like most of my X feed will now be videos of Glen and I’m OK with it.
This is a rare video of him singing Falling Slowly alone and it’s simply beautiful

Rest in peace, @GlenHansard.
Your voice carried something rare, something that could reach people in ways words alone never could. Hearing you sing with @EddieVedder was pure magic. Two unforgettable voices, full of soul and honesty, creating a moment that will echo in my mind for years to come.
You left this world with music that will never fade. Your voice will live on in every note and every heart it touched. 🤍🎶

"And they will play a game, divided into two halves."
"And how much time is in each half?"
"Nobody knows."
They can start a timer for every break and resume when ready, and add the EXACT time to the 90 mins without breaking the flow of the game. Sorry but this somewhat arbitrary ref discretion is ridiculous

This gets funnier everytime I watch it. If you don’t see it the first time, watch it again. Funniest thing you’ll watch today

@RealStevenSlate glad you released V7 of VSX, it brought back some low end that disappeared from various near fields. Desert is also a great addition, keep’’em coming! Immersions and OG’s are both great, I continue flipping back and forth between them.
