New Apollo 3 won’t connect to Apollo solo node. Says invalid url.

I just got my new Apollo 3. I plugged it into the usb port of my original futurebit 1, then rebooted the miner so it can detect the new device. Nothing happens. I then tried the Ethernet option (which I prefer to use the more user friendly usb method that worked on Apollo 1 and 2), and it’s still not working. When pointing it to my solo pool the Apollo 3 says invalid pool url. I copied and pasted it from the main units display 🤷🏻♂️

I send mine to wasabi and coin join first. We are not same lol
@grok you assume I know anything about NAV, strike LEAP, etc
Anytime you generalize and use “always” it dilutes the truth. Those exceptional cases, as you’ve labeled it, have actually happened to a ton of law abiding citizens in the US and abroad. Labeling someone as a bitcoiner pigeonholes them in a way that prevents you from having a collaborative conversation. Labeling as “exceptional cases” dismisses the facts. I’m not going to reply to any additional responses since this conversation is in circular reasoning hell. Good luck to you.
The essence of the discussion is that you can use fiat almost everywhere until the people in charge say you can’t; for any reason including some of the reasons I mentioned; which by the way is not legal for them to do, but the government and banks get away with it regardless.

@grok during chokepoint 1.0/2.0 who all were targeted and debanked? Post-2020 what nations blocked access to users bank accounts due to protesting shutdowns, also vaccine-related mandates? What currencies have recently experienced hyperinflation? Which nations are banning cash?

Depends on the status of the guy who’s giving get attention. If George Clooney says something goofy, she’ll think it’s cute. If the mailman says it, she’ll think it’s creepy.

After the 5th try it finally worked. I have one of the original Apollo nodes, so I thought maybe it was the ads of the machine that was causing the issue. Btw, I’m nearly out of disk space on the 1TB nvme drive. Do you have any recommendations?

I guess you've been out of the loop since 2020.

It's not working. I've tried 4 times to update to the new version. It keeps getting hung, doesn't provide any errors, just stops updating.

You’re trying to make a black and white point, for a very nuanced argument. Anyone in Bitcoin, understands intuitively that Bitcoin can be inconvenient. But we also understand that inflation is inconvenient, government’s ability to sensor and spy on you is inconvenient. Bitcoin is an insurance policy and a long term investment strategy that many believe in. Strike will allow you to spend Bitcoin by default if that is your desire. Some restaurants accept bitcoin as payment. If you have Bitcoin, it’s most likely not so that you can spend it on a hamburger though, am I right?
I’ve actually bought a grass fed beef tallow steak and shake burger with Bitcoin and it was fun, but I’m not enthusiastically trying to convert Bitcoin to a taxable transaction on a regular basis. Most of mine is anonymized, on multi sig wallets, inside LLC’s, etc. this is a generational play for most people.
