1038 DR Year of Spreading Spring #GHotR #realmslore #dnd Raised by elves and trained in military strategy and governance, Aencar Burlisk rose to prominence in the Dalelands as a folk hero during the early 11th century DR. After eight years of strong and competent rule, Lord Burlisk began his campaign to unify the Dales, gaining the moniker of Mantled King—named so for the signature red hood and mask that hid a disfigurement earned in battle with a warlock.
