We've had quite a few people asking if the correspondence between ourselves and Northumbria Police means we have accepted their recommendation.
We are continuing to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to give the opportunity for the police to reassess their approach.

Check local transport providers for road and Metro closures before travelling.
Give yourself more travelling time as accidents are more likely under these conditions.

Tyne-Wear bubble match an “absolute disgrace”.
Sunderland and Newcastle United groups speak out against restrictions after police said last season's game "passed largely without incident".
The FSA is opposed to bubble matches and will support our members opposing the measures.
