31-0 regular season, accomplishing something only a few D1 teams have ever done. Proud of these amazing student-athletes who exhibited toughness, grit and talent. Their connectivity was their super power and that does not change.
Proud of of everyone involved w/ @MiamiOH_BBall
Q1 & 2 teams: “We can’t schedule you and take the risk of a loss!”
Q3 teams: “Would you rather take the risk of a loss early in the season and make up for it throughout the season or be eliminated in the tournament? You choose.”

Steve Baker has been the Voice of the Redhawks for four decades - through the good and the bad.
However, as Miami has its best season ever, Baker unfortunately won't be dancing with the team.
He will be watching, though.

With their win tonight, @MiamiOH_BBall is the first team in Division I history to finish the regular season with:
undefeated record
90.0+ points per game
50.0+ field-goal percentage
10.0+ threes made per game

Should not even be a debate about 29-0 @MiamiOH_BBall as to whether they should be part of @MarchMadnessMBB if they do not win the MAC tourney -metrics used to define who should qualify as at large teams is one sided & favors MEDIOCRITY from power conferences over EXCELLENCE by mid majors .
