RIP Greg Hildebrandt.
The wonderful American artist and his twin brother Tim have produced a wealth of magnificent illustrations for sci-fi and fantasy. Including the classic variant of the Tom Jung Star Wars (1977) poster art.
He was 85.
Big props to #AgathaAllAlong for the brief reference to backmasking. #SatanicPanic
I've always really liked the colors in Droids, particularly the blue under-plating on C-3PO together with the different shades of gold that highlight his features.
have been assumed to be:
* An R2 unit
* An astromech named "red"
* An astromech with a good motivator
* A random R5-extra in Attack of the Clones
* One of the droids that stormtroopers were looking for
* Witty and charming

by a galaxy far, far away this is one of my all-time favorite #SWcomics tweet threads:
I'm going to tweet the storyline of the original #StarWars, not based on the actual film, but reconstructed solely on the scenes depicted on the covers of the 1977 Marvel Comics Star Wars series, issues 1–6
