Matt Reeves taking time to deal with a family situation reminded us of this James Gunn story. It’s cool when people care about people.

So last night, we saw #FreshMeat from @deadmeatjames & Chelsea - a horror anthology where they had over 500 submissions and they chose 13 (whilst they created the wrap around). When it was done, the other two peeps with me could not decide which for the longest time what our favorite was - wasn't like it was down to 2. There were so many that we argued for why it could be top spot!
I HOPE they make a film once a year. It's inspiring and so impressive of the usage of the horror medium in a variety of genres.
Out of the 13 shorts, there was only one that I thought was stylistically cool but just okay, and another that had its merits but didn't ultimately like. The rest though (including their wrap around) was truly top notch.
Again, DO THIS EVERY YEAR!
The freshest horror this year.
From James A. Janisse (@deadmeatjames) & Chelsea Rebecca, Dead Meat's horror anthology film FRESH MEAT is coming to theaters on October 12 for one-night-only.
Tickets are on sale now.
Fresh Meat features 13 tales of terror!

Digger is extremely divisive. Was it worth it? And should Tom Cruise and other celebrities just “shut up and dribble”?
Also that comment during the live show is wild 🤯
