People complained then but that, in my opinion, was always “everyone complains when their team loses.” This is different in my opinion, Ben. There are some really brutal games being officiated especially poorly right now. This crew today has been terrible going on a year and a half now in my opinion. That 4th Quarter was not NFL Caliber. 🤷🏻‍♂️

This will be a welcome sight tomorrow night. Finally a primetime game for Alex Kemp. This is your premier NFL Referee in my opinion.

In my opinion having 1 single Referee you feel is calling games well and at a high level is a problem because he can only do 1 of 15 games each week. Speaks to some pipeline, development, talent evaluation and recruiting issues. It’s also clear to me, in my opinion, that the recent and newer Referee promotions have not yielded strong results. All my opinion, but this can’t be ignored anymore. You have really important games being officiated especially poorly on a consistent basis again in my opinion.

This is a touchdown. Alex Kemp is the only Referee right now I feel confident in working a clean and good game in the NFL. Really rough times

This was his first “prime time” game of the season. You are not following closely

FOX National Game of the Week and unfortunately more than a few controversial and questionable calls involved in it. Kind of rare to hear the rules analyst on the broadcast openly disagree with several rulings and adjudications, but to his credit, Dean Blandino did. Just was not an NFL Caliber Officiating Performance in my opinion. This crew has consistently been underwhelming in my opinion.

Another Roughing the Passer penalty enforced by 2nd year Referee, Alex Moore. Once again….. me, Tom Brady, Dean Blandino and Kevin Burkhardt all strongly disagree.
Roughing the passer? I mean, c’mon #Packers

Is this the product the NFL wants? National audience getting an opportunity to see this crew work. Alex Moore calls another awful Roughing the Passer on Green Bay. Another terrible call in my opinion. Something needs to be done. This is not an NFL Caliber Officiating performance. National Audience. I’ve been on this crew for weeks and dating back to last year. Not sure NFL agrees or cares. This is bad in my opinion.

This was ruled Roughing the Passer on Green Bay. Minimal contact and an Oscar worthy performance by Goff. Tom Brady, Dean Blandino, and me all disagree with Alex Moore but the flag was enforced for 15 yards and an automatic 1st down.
Very questionable roughing the passer call against the #Packers that everyone on the telecast disagreed with, including Tom Brady, who said: “I don’t like it either.” 🤷🏻‍♂️

This was ruled as a late hit after the play for unnecessary roughness. Hard to understand how this is considered late and it’s a shoulder to chest hit - a textbook defensive hit. Referee Alex Moore enforced the foul for 15 yards and automatic 1st down. Me, Tom Brady, and Dean Blandino all disagree and saw this one differently as well

This is not intentional grounding. Dean Blandino and me see this differently and disagree with Referee Alex Moore
they called intentional grounding on Jordan Love for this

Referee Alex Moore and his crew have certainly had more than a few questionable calls today in Detroit. In my opinion, this is by far the worst officiating crew on staff. This is another unfortunate showing in FOX Feature Game for Moore and this crew in my opinion.

Try re-reading. I said they got the incomplete pass and fumble overturn and subsequent penalty correct. This was a different play. But since you clearly aren’t a fan, no need to follow me. Enjoy your day.

The other piece here of relevance…. they picked up or removed the flag for a foul on BYU. The runoff would only come into play if the cause of the helmet coming off was not the result of an opponent’s foul. 👍🏻

Listening to the sequence back... the Big 12 Replay Command Center appears to tell the on field official that there will be a 10 second runoff and regulation will conclude and head to OT. Really rough few weeks for the Big 12 Replay Command Center in my opinion. The Cincinnati targeting earlier today, the failure to address clock issue last week in Provo. Some uncomfortable questions may need to be asked of the Big 12 Replay Command Center in my opinion.

Here is my attempt to summarize the chaotic finish of the BYU/UCF end of regulation. There is a lot here so this is a tough and confusing play. This is my opinion and interpretation. First, there is a legal kick FG attempt by UCF on 3rd down. The clock should stop at the conclusion of a "legal kick down ends." Here, in my interpretation, the legal kick down ends when the kick is blocked and the UCF player recovers the kick and is tackled down. This appears to happen around 0:06 seconds and the whistle blows. The clock would then start on the next snap, which would be UCF 4th down (re-kick FG attempt). See below under "Starts on snap". The flag thrown triggers a 10 second runoff for a helmet coming off ONLY if the helmet coming off is the ONLY or SOLE reason for the clock stopping. This does not, in my opinion and interpretation, apply here because the clock should stop at the conclusion of the legal kick down (when UCF player is tackled down and whistle is blown). There is a lot going on here. Hard play to officiate. This is my interpretation, analysis, and opinion. 👍

That was marginal contact and to call that catchable would be generous for Yao Ming. Don’t like that DPI foul in Austin in my opinion
