The simple bones of my legacy:
Let it be that day after day
From infant to maturity
I laid down my life for my kids
I faithfully trained them in the Way
I prayed for them earnestly
I denied myself for their sake
In service to Jesus Christ
Simple.
Not easy

There are times in life
more frequent than not
where cleverness and strategy
need to die
In the place of planning
and working toward personal gain
We must ask a different question:
"Lord, what must I do to be faithful to your ways."
And do it at any cost

Been off of this app for a while.
I'm back for 1 reason and only 1.
Daily tweeting is a writing habit
That can feed my substack
That can develop my thinking.
In short:
I'm here to write.
I'm here to think.
I'm here to build.
What about you?

Building wealth is super simple.
Make more money and figure out how to keep increasing how much you make.
Spend less money and figure out how to keep decreasing how much you spend.
The trouble is that it is HARD.
Simple, but hard.

The most valuable possession?
Money? No.
Experiences? No.
Time? Sort of...
The most valuable possession is LIFE.
Without being alive, you cannot possess anything else.
The problem?
Man is dead in his sins.
The Solution:
Come to Jesus.

Loving your neighbor as yourself means that in financial transactions, you want:
1) To personally benefit
2) The other person to benefit
Don't let others "walk all over you" when your product/service is valuable.
Don't shortchange others.
Love your neighbor.

At a former job, I was promoted to management.
In this role, I was asked to encourage employees to get a life and health insurance license.
So I helped an employee schedule the 40-hour class required, and planned around her absence to cover her work.
What happened?
