In the updated policy, those in Quebec are now able to sponsor family members under the condition that they do not settle in Quebec - they must go elsewhere in Canada

Some say this policy is fair given the number of newcomers the province has received and its special selection powers. Others say this is a discriminatory restriction and should be removed. What do you think?

The Refugee Centre connects newcomers with resources for social assistance, education, employment, housing, & legal support. As a refugee myself, I am comforted to know that @RefugeeMTL is helping families like mine feel at home in their new communities. Thanks for all you do.
