1/3 Rempstone Traction Engine Club committee has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 show. Its proximity to the government’s final roadmap deadline does not provide sufficient leeway for us to proceed with any confidence.
1
2/3 Despite all our efforts to find a safe and acceptable way to run Rempstone 2021, the uncertainty about both the COVID situation and, in particular, national requirements for hygiene and social conduct mean that the risk to all concerned is too great for us to go ahead.
1
3/3 Naturally we are very saddened to have to cancel our show, but in the circumstances this is our only option. On behalf of our club, may I thank for your support in wanting to participate in our event, and we hope to see you on the weekend of the 9th-10th July 2022.
1/4 The funeral of Mike Beeby will take place at Rempstone Church at 12.00 on 14th January. However because of the COVID restrictions the number of attendees allowed in the church is limited and social distancing rules apply on the route of the cortege.

3/4 and abide by the restrictions which are for your safety and that of others. Appropriately Micheal’s coffin will be carried to the church from his home behind Audrey Boston’s Foster, driven by our current president Ian Creasey.

4/4 Please respect Mike’s memory and the wishes of his family by acting responsibly in these difficult times.
It is with geat sadness that I have to report that we have lost yet another of our loyal exhibitors. Colin Brothwell has exhibited his engine and rack saw (Wiili Cut It) for many years in the working area at Rempstone.

He always then insisted (sometimes with vigour!) that he should be sited so that he could see his rack-saw bench powered by Hildary, his Ruston Proctor agricultural Traction engine.

Our sincere condolences to his family and friends from my family and all involved with Rempstone Steam & Country Show. RIP Colin. Dave Morley
It is with great regret that we have to announce that Rempstone Steam and Country Show 2020 has had to be cancelled. We have made this decision in order to safeguard our exhibitors and visitors from the present pandemic.

We are so sorry to have had to make this decision, but it seems the only way to respond to the situation. We hope that we can rely on your support in the future for this amazing event which brings so much joy to those who attend and support to the charities and good causes
