PEI landlords are applying for & receiving rent increases of up to 35%, according to the Guardian this weekend.
The King govt didn’t enact #PEI’s new Residential Tenancy Act before the election was called. Without it, there’s no limit on size of rent increases IRAC can approve.
We need to banish fear and hate. We need to celebrate love and empathy.
I was shocked to hear one of the leaders who spoke say that Dennis King said he had no interest in meeting with and listening to the frontline workers. Time for him to go if that's his take. #peipoli
