I’ve stood with you on the front lines of our wildfires, but today, Oregon faces a man-made disaster. By remaining a sanctuary state, Oregon is effectively inviting chaos into our communities. We see the consequences in places across the country, where violent repeat offenders—illegal aliens with multiple arrest records—are let loose by a prosecutor only to murder innocent women and children. This injustice must stop now. We cannot allow 'sanctuary' to mean 'immunity' for violent criminals. Oregon needs to stop fighting Federal attempts to remove the worst of the worst, start enforcing our laws, and get these illegal aliens out of our state and country. I will always put the safety of your family and our neighbors above radical politics.
Update on Mom: almost 95, doing well in her new home in Vancouver, WA. She misses her Gold Beach friends but is closer to family, getting excellent care, and working on her new book. A special day with her great-great-grandson Jonathan was a highlight. Family first. ❤️🇺🇸

My heart breaks for the families of the three children and the teacher lost at Silver Rail Elementary in Bend, and for the two still fighting for their lives. Thank you to the teacher and responders who ran toward danger. Praying for Bend. 🇺🇸
