Congressman Rob Bresnahan Jr. retweeted
.@RepBresnahan has been a strong partner in the fight against Fentanyl, and I was proud to stand with him yesterday in his district on an issue that matters to so much of NE Pennsylvania. We’ve made real progress, but we won’t let up until this poison is out of our communities.
Last week, we had the pleasure of celebrating Perry Hoffpauer’s 89th birthday at Glenmaura Senior Living in Moosic. We’re grateful for the chance to honor Perry, an Army veteran, with a Congressional coin and celebrate this special milestone with him. Happy 89th, Perry!
Fentanyl is devastating families and communities across Pennsylvania. We need to crack down on traffickers, support law enforcement, and expand access to treatment.
I’ve supported legislation to combat fentanyl and secured over $1 million for the Monroe County DA’s Opioid Crimes Section to fight drug-related crime and prevent overdose deaths.
Thank you to Attorney General Blanche for coming to Northeastern Pennsylvania to discuss this crisis and how we can work together to save lives.
A law school in Northeastern Pennsylvania means more opportunities for our students to earn a quality education and pursue a career close to home.
Investing in education helps build a stronger workforce, supports our local economy, and gives the next generation more reasons to stay and put down roots in NEPA. I’m glad to see Misericordia University helping make that possible.
Seniors should not have to wait on paperwork to get the care their doctor prescribed. I’m proud to cosponsor the Improving Seniors’ Timely Access to Care Act and fight for faster decisions and a modernized prior authorization system for Medicare Advantage.
Great to join PA Inclusive for its Harvest Dinner and celebrate the important work they do to create opportunities, build independence, and make NEPA a more inclusive place to live and work. Congratulations to all of this year’s award recipients!
Our Director of Outreach, Leo, joined Enhanced Hearing Specialists for their ribbon cutting as the Cillo family celebrated new ownership of the Dickson City practice. It’s great to see a Pennsylvania family come home, invest in our community, and continue serving families across NEPA. Welcome home, Cillo family!

Pilots and air traffic controllers work together every day to keep our skies safe, but very few see their partner’s side of the job. I co-led the FLIGHT DECK Act to give controllers a view into the cockpit, helping pilots and controllers better understand each other’s responsibilities. When both sides can see the full picture, our entire aviation system is safer. timesleader.com/news/1754555…
Today, we celebrate Columbus Day and recognize the contributions of Italian Americans who have helped shape our nation. Christopher Columbus’s 1492 voyage remains a significant chapter in history, and this day is an opportunity to honor Italian American heritage, culture, and the generations who have strengthened our communities and our country.
A Philadelphia police officer was ambushed and killed simply for wearing the badge and answering the call. Another officer was shot and critically wounded.
These men put their lives on the line to protect the public, and one of them paid the ultimate price. My prayers are with the fallen officer’s family, the wounded officer and his family, and the entire Philadelphia Police Department.
We must never forget the sacrifice our law enforcement officers make to keep our communities safe.
An execution shouldn’t be a live-streamed spectacle. The focus should be on justice for the victims and their families, not turning an execution into entertainment. Their pain deserves respect, not a public show.
Excited to see Exeter Commons get underway. Wawa is just the beginning. This development will bring new businesses, jobs, and opportunities to Exeter while giving local families more places to shop, work, and spend time together.
That’s the kind of responsible growth we need across Northeastern Pennsylvania. Congratulations to everyone who helped make this project happen!
Housing costs are putting real pressure on families across Northeastern Pennsylvania.
We brought local realtors, developers, educators, and housing leaders together to hear what they’re seeing on the ground and what Congress can do to make housing more affordable.
We need to build more homes, cut unnecessary barriers, and make sure working families have a fair shot at owning a home.
Three years later, we remember the innocent lives taken on October 7th.
Hamas deliberately targeted civilians, murdered families, and took hostages. There is no justification for that kind of evil.
Today, we mourn the victims, stand with their families, reject antisemitism, and reaffirm our commitment to standing with Israel.
Reliable rural broadband is no longer a luxury, it’s a necessity.
By passing the Rural Broadband Affordability Act though the Farm Bill, rural families and small businesses will have better access to the reliable, affordable internet they deserve, and we’re working to make that a reality across NEPA.
When we say we’re going to do something, we see it through.
From visiting before I was even sworn in, to securing $3 million in federal funding last spring, to now helping move a $37 million USDA loan forward, we’ve stayed committed to the new Wayne Pike Career and Technical Center.
Another big step toward creating more opportunities for NEPA students and building the skilled workforce our region needs.
Tyler on our team attended East Stroudsburg University’s Legislative Fellow Breakfast last week, where State Rep. Doyle Heffley was named the 2026-27 ESU Legislative Fellow. Congratulations to Rep. Heffley on this well-deserved recognition!
