Great afternoon with the incredible residents and teams at Brookdale Northampton in Richboro and Revelle of Bucks County in Warminster, discussing an issue that matters to so many families: keeping quality senior care affordable, accessible, and close to home. Earlier this year, I met with Susan Saxinger, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Assisted Living Association, to discuss these challenges. We’re advancing that work through my bipartisan Caring for Our Seniors Act (H.R. 3000), which would help lower senior care costs and expand workforce training opportunities to recruit, train, and retain more direct care professionals. Supporting our seniors means supporting the people who care for them. Affordable care and a strong caregiving workforce go hand in hand, and we must strengthen both. My sincere thanks to Brookdale Executive Director Sherri Hoffman and her entire team, Revelle Residence Director Kim Cahilll Yannuzzi and her entire team, Susan and PALA for their continued partnership, and especially the residents and community members for their insights and warm welcome!

Peace through strength is more than a principle. It is a responsibility—and one that demands action. The Treasury Department’s decision to allow Russian diesel imports undermines the bipartisan law Congress enacted in 2022 to cut off funding for Putin’s war machine. Today, alongside @RepDonBacon and @RepMGP, I introduced the Ronald Reagan Peace Through Strength Act to nullify that waiver, enforce the existing ban, and safeguard critical U.S. intelligence support for Ukraine. Not a single drop of Russian oil should enter the United States while Putin continues his brutal war against Ukraine. We cannot stand with Ukraine while opening our markets to the energy revenues fueling Russia’s aggression. Our message must be unmistakable: America stands with Ukraine. Our laws must be upheld. And aggression must carry a cost greater than its reward. 🔗Read more: fitzpatrick.house.gov/2026/1…

Great to be back at William Tennent High School with Ms. DeMarco’s Conflict, Diplomacy and Resolution students! We explored the importance of bridging divides, finding common ground, and turning disagreement into progress—in Congress, around the world, and here at home. The students brought thoughtful questions and fresh perspectives to our discussion about diplomacy, public service, and the leadership needed to bring people together around lasting solutions. Grateful to Ms. DeMarco and the entire William Tennent team for fostering such an open, exciting learning environment where our next generation of leaders can thrive and grow!

🚨Big news for Quakertown! Proud to share I’ve secured $1 Million to revitalize historic downtown Quakertown, modernize critical infrastructure, support small businesses, and help drive the next chapter of the Borough’s growth. Our Main Streets are the heart of our communities, and I’ve long believed that preserving what makes these places special must go hand in hand with investing in their future—that’s exactly what we’re doing in Quakertown. Working alongside Borough leaders, local businesses, and residents, we identified the infrastructure improvements needed to build on their revitalization efforts and create new opportunities for growth. This is one of 11 community projects totaling more than $27.5 million that I worked to fund across PA-1 this year—bringing our total community project funding to over $80 million since FY22. My sincere thanks to Quakertown Borough leadership, our local business community, and the residents whose vision and dedication have helped move this project forward. I’m grateful for our partnership and look forward to continuing our work together to ensure Quakertown continues to thrive and remains a wonderful place to live, work, and invest. patch.com/pennsylvania/doyle…

Joined @kaitlancollins on @CNN tonight to discuss deeply troubling reports of Starshield restrictions in Ukraine. These allegations demand a full congressional investigation. We will establish the facts, determine who was responsible, and pursue accountability. Russia is the aggressor. Ukraine is defending its own land. There is no moral equivalence. America must never waver in its defense of freedom, nor equivocate in the face of aggression.

I’ve had the honor of working alongside the incredible Marissa Christie and United Way of Bucks County team for many years. So when she shared her vision for a permanent home that would fundamentally improve how we serve Bucks County families, I left no stone unturned to help bring that vision to life. I worked to secure more than $27.5 million for 11 transformative projects across our community, including an additional $1.25 million for United Way’s new HELP Center in Levittown—bringing the total investment I’ve championed for this project to $4.15 million. And now, that vision is a reality! The new HELP Center in Levittown has already served more than 3,200 neighbors, expanding access to essential services, connecting families with critical resources, and creating new pathways to stability and opportunity. Since 2022, I’ve worked to bring over $80 million in Community Project Funding to our district. Each of these projects reflects our shared commitment to working alongside residents, community advocates, and local leaders to identify priorities, develop solutions, and turn ideas like this into meaningful, lasting results. My sincere thanks to Marissa and the entire UWBC team for their outstanding service to our neighbors. I’m grateful for our friendship, and look forward to continuing our work together to serve our community. patch.com/pennsylvania/levit…

I will be speaking with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his team this week to discuss Starshield, sanctions, and other matters pertaining to the defense of our strong ally, Ukraine. I will be assuring President Zelenskyy that anyone who attempts to limit the use of Starshield for Ukraine will be fully investigated and will be held fully accountable, to include public congressional oversight hearings, and immediate harsh and punitive budget cuts to any responsible agency or agency head. Congress will unequivocally reaffirm that Ukraine is an indispensable ally to the United States, that Russia is a self-declared enemy of the United States, and that the United States will 100% support and defend the people of Ukraine in their fight for their own freedom against this brutal, illegal, and unprovoked Russian invasion. The United States must provide any and all defensive equipment that Ukraine needs to defend itself. The United States must not import a single drop of Russian oil. Sanctions against the Russian regime must be harsher and stronger than they’ve ever been before. Each and every one of these items will be brought to the House Floor—and each and every one of these items will pass on the House Floor by an overwhelming margin. This is, after all, what Ronald Reagan would do. And this is what we will do now. Ukraine can, and will, defeat Russia. #PeaceThroughStrength

A wonderful evening in Bensalem celebrating the Bucks County NAACP’s 75th Annual Freedom Fund Banquet! This year’s theme, “We the People,” speaks to the enduring promise of America and the responsibility we share to uphold it: defending the dignity of every person, ensuring every voice is heard, and working together to make the freedoms and opportunities upon which our nation was founded a reality for all. For 75 years, the Bucks County NAACP has worked to advance those ideals through steadfast advocacy, dedicated service, and an unwavering commitment to breaking down barriers, opening doors of opportunity, and bringing our community together. My sincere congratulations to this year’s distinguished honorees, and special thanks to Adrienne King, Karen Downer, and Jeannine Delwiche for your exceptional leadership, friendship, and dedication to our community. Bucks County is a better place because of your service, and I look forward to continuing our work together!

A great visit with my friends from the Bucks County Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Doylestown! Since 1925, this remarkable chapter has served our community through historic preservation, education, and patriotism. We had a productive discussion about strengthening these shared priorities and continuing our work together. As America celebrates 250 years, we must ensure that the next generation knows not only the history of our nation, but the ideals that shaped it, the sacrifices that sustained it, and their own responsibility to carry it forward. Thank you to the entire Chapter for a century of extraordinary service and continued partnership!

For 50 years, Historic Bristol Day has celebrated more than the Borough’s rich history—it has celebrated the people, traditions, and community spirit that make Bristol so special. What an incredible day marking this milestone anniversary! From the tall ship and historical reenactors to the classic car show and the 304th Battalion, Bristol’s history and hometown pride were on full display. A special congratulations to co-chairs Suzie Antonelli, Mike Crossan, Joe Dugan, and Alison McHugh on a phenomenal celebration! And big thanks to the dedicated volunteers, Bristol Borough Police, and community members who made it all possible. Here’s to 50 wonderful years of celebrating Bristol!

Responsible development requires a thoughtful assessment of what our neighborhoods, infrastructure, and natural resources can reasonably sustain—and a commitment to the residents whose lives will be affected. I met with concerned residents in Falls Township to discuss the Bucks County Housing Authority’s proposed new development on Tyburn Road and its potential impact on traffic, infrastructure capacity, stormwater management, and surrounding wetlands. These are not incidental concerns. They are fundamental questions about responsible planning and the long-term well-being of our community. My sincere thanks to the residents who took the time to share their perspectives. They deserve clear answers, meaningful consideration, and a genuine voice in decisions that will affect their neighborhoods for years to come. I will continue standing alongside them to ensure their concerns are addressed—not simply acknowledged—and that the interests of our community remain at the forefront of every decision.

What a great visit with the seniors and incredible team at Shanti Gardens Adult Day Care in Levittown! Since opening its doors in 2011, Shanti Gardens has been a special place of community and fellowship, where our seniors can build friendships, stay engaged, and receive the support and respite’s they deserve. Over the years, we’ve partnered together to advocate for our seniors and their families, and we’ll continue working to ensure their voices are heard and guiding the solutions we advance in Congress. My sincere thanks to the entire Shanti Gardens community for sharing your stories and insights, and to the entire team whose compassion and dedication make such a difference in the lives of our neighbors every day!

Improving Route 1 is an important investment in our region’s future, but getting it right means ensuring the safety and needs of our local communities remain central to the process. I met with residents of Langhorne Borough and Langhorne Manor Borough to discuss their concerns regarding PennDOT’s proposed improvements, including changes to traffic patterns, intersection design, and access to local roads. Working alongside our state and local officials, we are advocating at all levels of government, working toward sensible solutions for our community. Our shared goal is safer roads, improved mobility, and a responsible plan that serves the communities most directly affected. My thanks to the residents for sharing their perspectives—together, we continue working to ensure their voices remain central to the process as this project moves forward.

Another wonderful Navratri celebration with our friends at Shree Nathji Haveli in Bensalem! What makes our community special is not that we all come from the same place, worship the same way, or share the same traditions. It is that we choose to stand alongside one another, serve our neighbors, and build something stronger together. Through faith, family, and service, the Shree Nathji Haveli community embodies that spirit every day. My sincere thanks for your friendship, partnership, and all you do to strengthen our community. I am grateful to work alongside you in that shared mission. Thank you to everyone who made this special evening possible!

Today, Kayden Mancuso would have turned 16. Her life was stolen from her far too soon, but her memory continues to inspire a mission that reaches far beyond our community. One of the greatest honors of my life has been standing alongside her mother, Kathy Sherlock, in the fight to protect our children—a fight that led to the enactment of Kayden’s Law in 2022, legislation I authored as part of the Violence Against Women Act. Kathy, thank you for entrusting us with a part of Kayden’s legacy. Because of your love and determination, countless families have a stronger voice in the fight to keep their children safe. Kayden will always be part of our community, our story, and our mission to protect our children. Happy 16th birthday, Kayden. We will never stop fighting in your honor.

Great meeting with our PA-1 Student Task Force—one of our most meaningful initiatives, bringing together some of the brightest young minds from across Bucks and Montgomery Counties. Each year, these student leaders take on some of the most consequential issues facing our community and our country—from national security and teen mental health to college affordability and workforce opportunities—not simply to study the challenges, but to develop thoughtful, practical solutions. Last night, we focused on their project proposals, the ideas taking shape, and how we can work together to put them into practice. Grateful for their commitment to making a difference, and looking forward to helping turn their ideas into action!
