Our community is full of young people dedicated to making our country a better place. It was an honor to meet and swear in the Confluence Environmental Center’s newest cohort of AmeriCorps members. I am proud to stand with them and thank them for their dedication to service and our community.

It’s been three years since Hamas brutally murdered over 1200 people and took 250 hostage, in Israel.    This inexcusable loss continues to weigh heavily on our community. As does the ongoing genocide in Gaza. One does not and cannot excuse the other.   We must condemn violence, and we must do so in all of its forms. All of us need to stand together in opposition to hate and violence across the globe.
