Privileged to speak to Pastors from across Texas yesterday at the Texas Faith Summit in Austin. What an amazing afternoon with patriot men of God who fully understand the pivotal role the Christian Church will play to save Texas from the designs of the Enemy. From hostile foreign adversaries who seek to infiltrate our state to radical communists who have been aligned with criminal cartels to rot our society from within....the only True path for restoration is God's Church advancing His Kingdom. Our churches can no longer be silent. Remember—the American War of Independence was articulated and conceived in the Christian Church. Our Pastors must hold us all accountable to our collective responsibility to safeguard our liberties and our way of life.

Yesterday, I was honored to join hard-working Texans in my HD64 district @PeterbiltMotors plant in Denton to welcome President Donald J. Trump. Because of President Trump's policies, Peterbilt announced it was able to expand operations and add 1,000 new jobs right here in North Texas. That is America First in action! President Trump's agenda reflects what we have fought for at the grassroots: standing firm on our principles and putting Texans first. We are gaining ground, but we cannot afford to become complacent. Stay engaged and vote Red up and down the ballot this November. Thank you, @realDonaldTrump , for coming to Texas!

All data center permits are halted in Texas pending ERCOT and TWDB audits. Appreciative of this move by the Governor to ensure that our grid and our water are protected.
Gov. Abbott directed the TCEQ to halt any new permits authorizing data center projects until ERCOT completes its audit. No state agency shall move forward with approvals related to the development of data centers until that information is acquired.

Small farms are the backbone of Texas. They put food on our tables, keep families rooted in the land, and foster the independence and self-reliance that built our country. Too much government red tape still stands in the way of the next generation. I’m committed to cutting those barriers in the 90th Legislative Session so young Texans can farm, ranch, and stay independent.

It was a pleasure to meet with @GregAbbott_TX this morning along with @brentmoney and @schoolcraft4tx to prepare for the upcoming session! We discussed how to advance conservative policy and our RPT Legislative Priorities, particularly defending Texas against sharia. Very encouraged by the status of the lawsuit with CAIR which will pave the way for Texas to treat criminal terrorist organizations as such. We also discussed data centers and the importance of ensuring that our grid, our water, and our rural land is protected. Texans should not bear the direct or indirect costs of these facilities. Recently, a data center in Henderson County withdrew their application once these requirements were made clear, and we need to hold the line going forward. I am looking forward to continue fighting for our conservative values in the 90th session!

Proud to have signed on to this letter. The Mexican government has zero say in how America (and Texas) choose to control our side of the border.

Proud of the strong stand taken today by the Texas Sharia Free Caucus in favor of Texas sovereign authority to protect Texas for Texans. The ultimate arbiter of the Constitution remain the states who ratified it, not federal courts. We will do what we must to protect our home.

This decision represents a significant victory for Texas, reflecting the fact that our country was founded upon biblical principles. It is vital that the next generation understands their heritage.
MAJOR VICTORY The Texas State Board of Education just passed incredible pro-American K-8 social studies standards rolling back 80 years of historical revisionism! Big win for future of Western Civilization, the American Republic, and our Texan way of life. To God be the Glory🇺🇸

My office is formally requesting a contested case hearing for MSW Permit No. 2421, which approved a landfill within the Upper Trinity Regional Water District. The proposed waste disposal landfill would lie within the Trinity Aquifer, creating an unacceptable risk of contamination to the citizens of Wise County. I intend to take every action available under the law to protect our groundwater. You can read the full letter here: hopper4texas.com/wp-content/…

House Bill 25, which went into effect in December, has given Texans the ability to purchase ivermectin over the counter to treat humans without a prescription. Similarly, ranchers should be allowed to make the same treatment decisions for their animals.

Today we pause to remember D-Day, one of the most pivotal moments of World War II. 10,300 Americans gave their lives to secure freedom for generations to come. We honor their sacrifice and extraordinary courage. "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his brethren." - John 15:13

The Insurance Committee convened yesterday to begin discussions on our interim charges. It was a highly informative hearing that examined the current state of Texas’ insurance market and explored practical solutions to the challenges many Texans are facing. We heard from a range of experts on health benefits for small and mid-sized employers, the impact of federal health policy, and a comprehensive market overview from the Texas Department of Insurance. Without question, one of the drivers of healthcare costs is the number of illegals who are receiving free healthcare services that citizens are asked to subsidize either directly or indirectly. We must collect the right data to inform policies that will ensure the benefits of living in Texas are for Texas residents only. So thankful we were able to meet and discuss these topics so that we can start making changes to benefit Texans and keep their healthcare costs from rising.

Thankful that the jury did their duty today and that there will be justice for Athena. The gallows are too humane for this man and his crime. Thankful for the tireless work of District Attorney James Stainton and his incredible team. Please continue to pray for peace beyond understanding for Athena's family.

This morning I was able to see the devastation in Runaway Bay firsthand, and the damage was profound. So thankful for @WiseCountyOEM and the incredible job that they have been doing coordinating the incident response. It's amazing to see so many across our county and even the state pouring in to secure the area, fix power lines, and help residents deal with the devastation. As stated, the emergency response is being coordinated by @WiseCountyOEM and @TDEM. However, should there be any further issues that we can help with or even any questions that need answered, my office staff is manning the phones today. Please feel free to reach out to my office if you should need our help: (512) 463-0582 (940) 503-2046

I am proud to stand with @RepArrington and conservative leaders across the state in support of House Resolution 50. This resolution reaffirms a core constitutional truth: under Article I, Section 10, states retain the sovereign power to protect their territory and exclude those who have no lawful right to be present, especially when facing invasion. States are not defenseless. They have the inherent right to defend themselves against invasion. The federal government was never intended to be the supreme arbiter of its own jurisdiction or the powers of the states or the people. Read the full letter here: arrington.house.gov/uploaded…
