This week, I had the honor of joining President Trump at the White House.
I’m committed to continuing our work together to secure our borders, strengthen the economy, eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse, and reclaim America’s energy dominance. I remain dedicated to advancing commonsense policies that benefit every American!
New Jersey improperly registered over 6,000 noncitizens to vote, yet has failed to explain how this happened or why they remained on voter rolls until 2026.
Today, I join Chairman @RepBryanSteil and Chairman @Jim_Jordan in issuing a subpoena to demand accountability. Election integrity is not optional.

SUBPOENAED: Chairmen @Jim_Jordan, @RepBryanSteil, @Congressman_JVD, and @RepLaurelLee subpoenaed New Jersey's Acting Secretary of State for information on how it registered over 6,000 noncitizens to vote.
After 79 days, only 12 documents have been produced to the Committees.
The New Jersey Department of State can try to stonewall all they want, but this isn't going away.
American deserve secure elections.

The deaths of 50+ sloths at the planned Sloth World attraction here in Orlando were a tragedy. And we have to ensure it never happens again.
That's why today, on International Sloth Day, @RepLaurelLee and I are taking action by introducing the Stopping Legalized Organized Trafficking and Harm to Sloths Act—SLOTHS Act.
This bipartisan bill would prohibit sloth imports into the United States, with limited exceptions and ensure that the demand for these animals doesn’t continue to fuel a trade that puts their lives at risk.
Protecting wildlife should not be a partisan issue. 🦥
I am proud to join @RepMaxwellFrost in introducing the bipartisan SLOTHS Act to put an end to the commercial exploitation of these vulnerable animals.

More than 50 sloths died in Florida. Their suffering was preventable, and their deaths demand action.
Today, on International Sloth Day, I am introducing the bipartisan SLOTHS Act alongside @RepMaxwellFrost to ban the importation of wild-caught sloths into the United States and strengthen protections for these vulnerable animals.
We have a responsibility to ensure that tragedies like this are never repeated.

The tragic deaths of more than 50 sloths in Florida exposed the devastating consequences of importing wild-caught sloths into the United States.
Today, I am joining @RepMaxwellFrost to introduce the bipartisan SLOTHS Act to prohibit the importation of wild-caught sloths into the United States. These animals should never be subjected to such suffering, and this legislation is an important step toward preventing another tragedy.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
According to Florida Health CHARTS, approximately 132 women per 100,000 are diagnosed with breast cancer in Florida annually. This statistic is a powerful reminder of the importance of raising awareness and improving outcomes for women facing this disease.
My heart is with every woman and family affected by breast cancer. We must continue supporting efforts to improve access to lifesaving screenings and advance research toward a cure.
Great news for @USouthFlorida!

Happy 251st Birthday, @USNavy!
Since 1775, the United States Navy has played a vital role in defending our nation and preserving the freedoms we hold dear. Today, we recognize the generations of sailors whose service and sacrifice have helped keep America strong.
Thank you to the brave men and women of the U.S. Navy for your unwavering commitment to our country!
From our strawberry fields and citrus groves to farms across the country, American agriculture is built on generations of hard work and dedication.
On National Farmers Day, we thank the farmers and growers whose tireless work is essential to our communities and our nation’s future. Thank you for all you do.
Happy Columbus Day!
Today we commemorate Christopher Columbus’s historic voyage across the Atlantic and the profound impact it left on the course of history. The same spirit of ambition that propelled his journey continues to shape America’s enduring commitment to opportunity and progress. May we build upon that legacy and inspire future generations to pursue all that is possible.

Three years ago, the world witnessed the deadliest attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust.
Today, we remember every innocent life taken on October 7th and their families forever changed by this act of terror.
Three years later, we continue to honor the victims and reaffirm that such hatred must never be allowed to prevail.
Tracking the travel of a child and his mother to facilitate a search of a former President’s residence is not legitimate law enforcement. It is the weaponization of the Department of Justice.
