Today is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Yet, as too many know, grieving the loss of a baby doesn't happen one day a year.  It’s difficult to discuss the grief that comes with the loss of a baby. In 2023, our family suffered a late-term miscarriage with Mary Margaret's older sister, Charlotte Sloane. It devastated us.  Since then, the Lord has blessed Rachel & I with three beautiful girls. They're the greatest joys of our life. Still, Charlotte will always be our first and we find comfort in knowing that she's with Jesus.  To everyone navigating loss, our hearts and prayers are with you. Please know that even in our darkest days, hope remains. Psalm 30:5 – "Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning."

I joined NCDOT's Airport Vision and Partnership Tour in Lexington to learn more about KEXX Airport's future and the exciting projects ahead. North Carolina has a rich history of leading the way in aviation, and I'm proud to see that tradition continue right here in NC-06.
