This electric aircraft is designed to fly nine passengers without airports, emissions, or noise. This type of aircraft could unlock thousands of new locations for direct air service. I am excited to see the future of aviation in Northeast Philadelphia!
Another sunny day at Northeast Philadelphia Airport (PNE)! Senator Joe Picozzi and I were at PNE for a demonstration of the Electra EL-9 ultra short takeoff and landing aircraft.
Letting these so-called training companies take shortcuts or work outside of the law is unacceptable - the smallest mistake can have life-threatening consequences to anyone who uses Pennsylvania roads.

It was a pleasure to join South Carolina Secretary of Transportation Justin Powell, Rhode Island State Senator Louis DePalma, South Carolina State Senator Sean Bennett, and members of the American Road and Transportation Builders Association!
Now, we will award contracts to the most qualified team who can get the job done quick - rather than a less qualified team who will take more time, resources and ultimately more money.
I was honored to recently speak on a national panel in Washington DC about how PA is using innovation to deliver road and bridge projects faster - such as a law I wrote and championed: Design Build Best Value procurement.

Once a person has served their time, it can take months for them to be released from the Interlock Ignition Program, causing them time and money. My bill to streamline this program has been sent to the Governor.

Driving under the influence is a serious offense. It can alter lives forever, and offenders should absolutely be held accountable for their reckless decision.
It's essential that we ensure their retirement benefits keep pace with inflation, and this year's budget accomplishes that goal and more.
I'm proud that we were able to set aside political differences and prioritize the needs of retired teachers, police officers, firefighters, and other public servants in our commonwealth.
