DTE outage map reporting 10k out in Ann Arbor area, 15k out in the Detroit area. Lansing predictably has 0 outages.
We can’t keep living like this, we need electricity in the winter.

Replying to @DTE_Energy
DTE spends nearly the same amount for marketing as they do for equipment upgrades. As a for-profit monopoly with poor oversight from the governor and the MPSC, it’s no wonder they care more about their shareholders and executive pay than they do customers.

Conspiracy theory: the new @DTE_Energy outage map is designed to make it harder to take a screen shot showing the extent of current outages.

This is the time for us to make our voices heard. While DTE is busy paying out their shareholders, our communities are suffering.

Thank you to State Rep. Yousef Rabhi for reading to Pittsfield Penguins today. The best part was when my 3rd grader, Yousef, met his state representative with the same name as his! What an unforgettable moment for Yousef! 😊 📚 #marchisreadingmonth

Back in February, Senator @JeffMIrwin & @RepRabhi introduced legislation to make polluters pay for the messes they leave behind. So, what's the hold up? If corporations create messes, they should be responsible for cleaning them up. #mileg michigandaily.com/section/go…

I co-sponsored @RepRabhi's "polluter pay" bill, HB 4212 to mandate corporations who pollute our communities pay the cost to clean up their messes. This is so important to ensuring our communities are safe from harmful toxins, and that we're putting our people first.

Success! The House Judiciary Committee just passed the #RaiseTheAge bills. Under current law, 17-year-olds are automatically prosecuted as adults. Michigan is one of 4 states that does this. These bills change the age to 18. On to the House floor!
