Some of the replies are a perfect example for the fact that crowd is gunning for everything Bioware, & that includes Mass Effect. We have to be united, we can't pick and choose what counts as a Bioware game/team worth defending. Together, we are so much stronger. #SaveBioWare
Mass Effect fans are calling for a boycott of all EA products and services in protest of the company closing down BioWare and canceling the next Mass Effect game. bit.ly/4dZ9do7

And quoted his dogwhistle takes ad nauseam, which were also used and are still used to attack the Bioware devs. Then we have the other reviewer who gave stuff from his review code copy to his hard right wing buddy who then mobilized the "troops."
"many skipped it" Yeah, many skipped it partly because of Skill Up's review.

To me, it's not about #SaveMassEffect versus #SaveDragonAge. I love BOTH franchises, and I think the overall efforts #SaveBioWare would see both series continued. So, for me, it doesn't matter WHICH franchise you prefer, at the end of the day we are celebrating all things @bioware and that's what matters most :)

Like I don’t know man, harassing and celebrating game developers losing their jobs isn’t going to go over well if you’re trying to get a job in the industry. Nobody wants to work with or hire people who have cheered seeing their colleagues go through that.

No, it's absolutely EA's fault.
It’s never the company’s fault it’s always somebody else’s

You can rip the Mako from my cold dead hands I love exploring these empty ass planets in my stupid space dune buggy
Mass Effect 1 is like "here are some random planets for you to spend five minutes on" and they have the most beautiful views you've ever seen

sorry, unpopular opinion time: the Mass Effect petition needs to explicitly state that BIOWARE needs to be saved. imo the petition description focuses on players’ attachment and expectations and ignores the BioWare devs who made ME5. Selling the IP isn’t enough, save BioWare.

I never thought I'd have this position or feel the need to say it, but no one should be going anywhere near David Gaider or Mark Darrah for this while you're acting this way about Dragon Age. I want you to seriously think about why that is fucked up.

I don't believe that's true. Geoff Keighley posted his support of Bioware and Dragon Age with the video of their Inquisition win. The idea we need to cater to the people who have been attacking Bioware for a lot longer than two years. We should have KOTOR billboards, we should-
saw the twt about the first billboard for ME and I wanted to ask if there are plans for DA too. immediately realized that DA billboards might hurt the chances of getting signatures bc ppl generally have a negative impression of DAV and wouldn’t want to save BioWare bc of it 🫠

-be invoking Bioware's legacy now more than ever. Do people want to save Mass Effect's current team that would deliver them the game that should get made? Or are they just trying to make sure they get more Mass Effect, no matter the cost...

My favorite aspect of Mass Effect 1 that the sequels don't capture is the vast and lonesome splendor of the games' setting. In ME1 you fly to the furthest reaches of space and drive for miles across magnificent empty worlds that might never be traveled upon again. It's beautiful.

I play @BethesdaStudios games for completely different reasons than I play @CDPROJEKTRED games. and I've done sponsored content for both parties :) Companies should NEVER create games that feel exactly like carbon copies of each other. We want each studio to create unique experiences.

I mean, it does track. Thedas generally has rampant issues, and I imagine a letter home about Val Royeaux would have massive blind spots as well. Harding was expecting hell on Thedas and instead was greeted by another seat of an empire.

I mean, I'm pretty sure an elven Rook, Bellara and Davrin wouldn't really enjoy Harding recounting the Inquisition's time at the Winter Palace either because her first thought would not be what it's built on. I love Lace Harding but she grew up in Southern Thedas-

No, it was because of EA.
In case youre wondering why bioware fell its because "Die Hard Fans" bat for ANYTHING BIOWARE. regardless if its bad. 2 possibilities: 1: They just really like thier games 2: They agree with Bioware politically to a T Please be 1!
