Well these are midterm elections not federal elections where those things are generally on the table. But also no one is under the illusion voting will end imperialism and thats the only reason you participate in an election.

Adding to this, a lot of leftists are chronically online and learned activism through the internet. Thats why they have the superiority attitude and purity contests with politics. It’s not based in actual policy work or community building.

The “don’t vote blue” and “voting is useless” crowd is so overwhelmingly middle class white because when you’re the most protected class you have the most freedom to choose risk, at the cost of everyone more vulnerable than you. Lol
They are entirely useless individuals, ive watched them complain elections do nothing for a decade while I:
1. Watched them do nothing for a decade
2. Watched the people we lost elections to do quite a bit with the elections we gave them
A blue wave after a bad red presidency is a fairly typical pattern in american politics, and isnt really indicative of a campaign Kamala ran as a takeover campaign for an already unpopular blue administration. She wasn't particularly amazing but she also not a notably bad Dem.
