ALT Know the symptoms of meningitis. Meningitis can develop quickly. Get medical help immediately if you think you or someone else might have it.

ALT Symptoms of meningitis can include a high temperature, severe or worsening headache, stiff neck and dislike of bright lights.

ALT Other symptoms of meningitis can include vomiting, being very sleepy or difficult to wake, a rash that does not fade when a glass is rolled over it, and confusion.

ALT Don’t wait for a rash. Not everyone with meningitis gets one. If you think you or someone else could have meningitis, call 999 or go to A&E immediately.
