Nice shake-out in the metals today. When things rise that fast, expect a correction.
What's changed on the ground?
- Has the US stopped spending like a drunk sailor?
- Are US Debt interest payments more manageable?
- Is the JGB, Yen situation resolved?
- Does the ROW suddenly trust the dollar again?
Hmmm.

With precious Metals miners coming into the home stretch for Q4 earnings season, it may be useful to note that the average price miners received for gold in the quarter will be $4000 to $4100. For silver, it's $58ish.
Now consider what the average price has been quarter to date for Q1. Of course that means that if prices do not rise at all from today's close, but rather, just persist, you're looking at monster increases in FCF in Q1.
Maybe that's why there's so much effort to shake weak hands loose..... #silver, #gold
$KCH26 | Custom Technical Chart for KCH26 via @Barchart barchart.com/quotes/KCH26/te…
For those playing at home, the average daily closing price for gold and silver so far in Q4 has been $4,050 and $49.75, respectively. This compares to Q3 average prices of approximately $3,500 and $41.25.
So if prices stay stable (don't have to rocket from here) we're looking at significant Q4 earnings growth for miners whose share prices are currently below their post Q3 earnings report price action.
Further, consider the fundamental improvement that this extra will provide balance sheets going forward on the way to further share count reductions going forward.
Look at your mining stocks and their production levels and do some math.
Just saying...

#Silver Note that today is day three of $50+ Silver, making this period 300% longer than the one-day attainment of this mark in 2011.
Still running to sell before it collapses?
Who knows what tomorrow brings. But this clearly is no a one-day event.
For all the retail folks out there, notice how its day TWO in $50 spot territory for silver.
Many have been worried that it would be a one day wonder like 2011.
Well here is day two.
Let that sink in, before you run off to the local bullion dealer and sell, sell, sell to cash into devaluing fiat.
What does tomorrow (Monday) bring? Who knows?
But this is day two.
