Today is Guy Fawkes day or Bonfire Night as we call it. It is celebrated with bonfire gatherings and fireworks. An effigy of Guy Fawkes is often made from hay and dressed up and then burnt. My small town will have a procession to a local Bonfire where it will be thrown in to burn. Sounds mad right? Yeah it is. Always gives me The Wicker Man vibes.
For me it's like a second Halloween. I'll be staying in and keeping my cats calm through the fireworks.
