Rebecca hated men, so naturally she posted about them 10 times a day on Instagram. She was never going to find a life partner. No one shared her love of wildlife or lived up to her cleanliness standards. One day she shared a photo of a crow who'd brought her a coin. "That's actually a raven," a guy named Kyle responded. Discord is about to put your public messages on Google Discord will start making messages from Discoverable public servers searchable on Google and other search engines from mid-December. The feature is ON by default in most regions, but you can opt out: User Settings → Data & Privacy → turn off “Show my message content from Discoverable channels on web pages.” In the EU, UK, Canada, Brazil, Australia and South Korea, it will be OFF by default. Private servers, DMs and group DMs are not included. Usernames and avatars won’t appear alongside indexed messages.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Walter Koenig’s passing. Although we did not know each other well away from the set, we shared the later seasons of the original Star Trek series and the six films that followed. What I observed, and what so many fans have expressed over the years, was a man who genuinely loved the Star Trek community. At conventions, Walter was rarely content to remain behind a signing table. He preferred to be among the people who had kept Star Trek alive for so many decades. That kind of genuine connection is rare, and it will be remembered by everyone who came into contact with him. My condolences to his family, his friends, and the countless fans whose lives he touched.

Don’t Nod, the studio behind the original Life is Strange, is collapsing. The French developer is facing a near-total layoff, up to 85 jobs, which would leave its French teams with only a small number of employees. The studio has struggled with a string of underperforming releases, the most recently the sci-fi adventure Aphelion. Don’t Nod has warned that it may not have enough funding to continue operating beyond January 31, 2027, and has entered a French “safeguard” procedure to restructure its finances.
