They burned Jan Hus. But they did not get this sermon. For over 6 centuries his sermons have been removed from the English speaking world. Revived Thoughts is releasing the second sermon of his and it is amazing! He describes the persecution they were under and gives an answer to one of the toughest questions for Christians: Why does God leave the tares with the wheat? Why does God leave false teachers within the church?

Harmless prank you pulled off? Back in College I had half the school believing in a fake, super exclusive Italian restaurant with "to die for" cheese sticks called "Monticelli's" A guy even took his girl "there" and surprised her with a rooftop, private chef dinner.

Pray for the people in Brazil. A good friend of mine is Brazilian and the past four years for them were very frustrating. Another round of election nonsense is really disheartening to the people there.

Jude blocked me for this one joke but what do you think? Funny or block?

I must admit, I am depressed by the horror movie discourse. I don't think Christians showed charity to one another in that debate at all. We can speak to each other with much more grace than this!

"Whatever is Pure, whatever is lovely... Think about such things." Christians on X: Obviously that means a sociopath clown demon that kidnaps children don't be a legalist and doubt it.

We have done enough destigmatizing. What do we need to start stigmatizing?

I am losing followers for this pretty milquetoast take that many people who make horror movies are in a dark place mentally/spiritually and so I don't want to partake in that. But I guess I'll continue to stand by the fact that people who put hours of grotesque make up and act like demons are probably not in a great place mentally/spiritually as they do so.

Our final Feedback Episode of Christian Or Not for season 1 is out. We figured out whether: Woodrow Wilson Ernest Shackleton Charles Dickens Mozart Charlemagne John D Rockefeller Isaac Newton Francis Drake Were Christians Or Not! Season 2 is already filming!

The reason I don't watch horror, besides the creepiness, is the people who make it. The mindset they have to be in, the creepy ideas and sets they have to come up with, and stories of behind the scenes stuff I have read just tells me the people making these movies are not in a spiritually healthy place. Which makes me think it's pretty unhealthy to be taking it in, too.

What would you tell 12th graders today that are anxious their jobs will be replaced by AI before they graduate college?

My son asked me today what my favorite fruit of the Spirit is today. So what fruit of the Spirit is your favorite?
