Carles Gil didn’t score in any of those either! Obviously his fault.

How has he not won an MLSCup yet? Absolute failure, to be honest. #nerevs

The only reason the New England Revolution made the playoffs is because they were better than a bunch of teams and beat them. In order to win the World Cup, they have to spend 6 trillion dollars and never lose again. #nerevs

@andrew_wiebe why is that a PK when it comes off Miller’s foot into his face and POSSIBLY his arm? No way that’s intentionally even if it does hit his arm. Crazy call.

And how is this more offside then when an offside player stops playing, but all of the defense stops because he's there and another player runs past? Seems like a lot more of an advantage is gained from that.

@andrew_wiebe Please tell me you'll break down this one. IMO, I don't think Gazdag impacts the play on the initial pass and the NYC guy plays the ball. Really surprised it got overturned.

Completely disagree with that call. Gazdag not a part of that play and a clear action from the NYC player. If Gazdag isn’t there, the same thing happens. No advantage from being offside. #NERevs

I think there are obvious other reasons the team didn’t make the playoffs the last three years and they aren’t Carles. Even if your last sentence is correct, him being one of 2-3 DPs is good enough if the other players and the setup are solid.

I honestly don't know how you landed on this narrative. I can tell you that Carles has been an incredible player and leader for this team from day 1. If someone's a cancer, you don't re-sign him. Sometimes it feels like people are just incapable of enjoying nice things.

Not really. This is far more encouraging. Just have to have confidence that this performance is the real one, but the results will start to match it.

The #NERevs season is a very frustrating illustration of “regression to the mean”. Expected goals have been poor for us to this point, but we’ve won. Now we are crushing teams and losing. 🤷‍♂️

Will these talks be posted to YouTube like previous years? I have a couple I was hoping to share with some coworkers!

Especially because if Paredes was on a yellow and he Embolo drew a second one doing that, we'd be losing out minds about it.

Simulation is a yellow card. Trying to get another player a yellow card should be a yellow card. You think diving should not be a yellow? (That's fine and a different conversation I guess! I really want to get it out of the game)

ABSOLUTELY deserves a yellow in my book. Blatant dive as an attempt to draw a foul on another player. Get. That. Out.
