#CelebrityTraitors drew in 10 MILLION (60.4%) last night, peaking with 10.3m (61%). This is up by 3m on last year's equivalent episode. The first episode has been watched by over 14 MILLION viewers in 7 days, higher than most World Cup matches, including most England games.

#CelebrityTraitors returned last night with by far the highest audience this year (outside of the World Cup). 8.9m (50%) tuned in, peaking with 9.1m (55.5%). With 7 day data, last night's ep is estimated to average over 14 million, higher than most World Cup matches this year.

#Rewind 28 years ago, in September 1998, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire launched on ITV1. The show was dismissed by the BBC, C4, C5 and Sky, when ITV decided to take a punt on it. The show began with 9.5m viewers, and by the following week ratings had shot up to 13 million.
