Tonight: @WNCathedral will toll its funeral bell 400 times to mourn 400,000 lives lost to COVID19 as part of national ceremonies. The Cathedral will also be bathed in amber light and prayer. Public is invited to the Cathedral grounds; masks and distancing required.

Washington National Cathedral found 5,000 medical masks just sitting in its crypt

The cathedral purchased them around 2006, during an earlier health scare. Most of the masks will now be donated.
