I regard to Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest being burned down: I have always found some of the most potent reminders of the Nazi regime and what it stood for in the surviving architecture of the period. It is most impactful when you visit a city like Berlin and there amongst the rest of the city you come to a building such as Haus am Werderschen Markt. You see how the building was meant to make the individual feel small and powerless against an almighty and eternal state government. You see the ideology that led to so many horrors crystallized in stone. Losing these artifacts of Nazism is like losing a text that we can read and help us to understand our history. No matter how good it might feel to tear down temples to past devils, they remind us as Faulkner put it: “The past is never dead. It’s not even past.” It is important to keep the past present with us. Because it is.

Went to the @lucasmuseum today and it blew my mind. The Comics section was off the charts amazing, then add the Norman Rockwell section… forget the cool Star Wars stuff, the rest of the Museum is AMAZING! Highly Recommend for all types of arts fans.
Map Quest becoming relevant again is interesting
MapQuest just added an update to their service called “surveillance” and it’s horrifying
In the map when navigating you can toggle on “surveillance” and it shows all the Flock camera and all the other cameras that are also being used to mass surveillance American
This is literally horrifying (I show an example of an area in the video)
You won’t believe how many cameras are everywhere already in America, it looks worse than China
This is why we need some impactful change in leadership in California. They are not even listening to the people that matter
