Ici le président de l’Angola 🇦🇴… João Lourenço @jlprdeangola le répète dans l’interview avec Jeune Afrique… Tshisekedi doit négocier avec AFCM23 … seulement, ceci n’est pas une révélation, or il s’obstine et va chercher le monde entier pour qu’ils meurent pour lui au Congo… les mercenaires, qu’ils soient américains ou Burundais… cela reste des mercenaires… ce qui prouve bien que rien ne va sous sa gouvernance, sinon il n’aurait pas à vider les caisses de l’état pour payer des tueurs qui se font descendre face à l’AFCM23… qui lui est Congolais et chez lui.

Let me add my local context - Banyamulenge church and organization leaders have been reporting for over a year that civilians, churches, schools, and hospitals in Minembwe, Democratic Republic of Congo have been bombed by drones employed by mercenaries hired by the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Callixte Mbarushimana, poursuivi pour génocide, notamment pour l'assassinat de personnels locaux de l'ONU à Kigali en 1994, ancien haut cadre des FDLR une fois arrivé en exil, dont la Chambre de l'instruction de la Cour d'appel de Paris avait ordonné la réouverture de l'instruction en mai 2025, est décédé.
Pensées émues pour les victimes des faits qui lui étaient reprochés.

🎥 “The Washington Peace Agreement, together with the agreed CONOPS and OPORD, already establishes clear obligations, operational arrangements, sequencing, verification mechanisms and implementation timelines.
These commitments cannot be unilaterally or selectively reinterpreted, subjected to new preconditions, or substituted with separate bilateral arrangements with the very armed groups that the DRC has committed to neutralize.
We view it as an attempt to substitute a separate arrangement for a clear commitment already undertaken, and as a delaying tactic that risks prolonging rather than resolving the security threat.
The obligation is clear: the FDLR must be neutralized, and that neutralization must be effective, complete and verifiable.
The continued presence of the FDLR in eastern DRC, its genocidal ideology, and the continued collaboration and support it receives from the DRC government constitute a direct and existential security threat to Rwanda.
That is how Rwanda understands this threat, and that is how we must treat it.”
