I’ve watched ball with Zlatan and even been to his store to make purchases not once. Why didn’t Zlatan invite me to his wedding if that’s what you call access?

The problem is the misuse of the word “access.”
Especially in entertainment and politics or such environment, you can see these people every day, shake their hands, take pictures, laugh with them, and still have absolutely no access to them. All you have is the moment you shared in that setting. Nothing more.
Access is what happens beyond the room. It is being able to reach them after the event, invite them somewhere and have them honour it, have them know you personally, remember you, or connect you to opportunities because they know who you are. That is access.
Not to discredit some babes who genuinely have the network, but let’s not pretend these connections happen as randomly as people make them seem because you’re “Lagos girl”. Because you have an artiste number or being in the same club with them isn’t “Access”
Imagine a lawyer saying Davido came to her office and using that as proof of access. LMAO. Na settings you meet am! You don’t know him, he doesn’t know you, and he is not your network simply because you have a picture together.
Proximity is not access. Visibility is not connection. And a picture is not a relationship.

Replying to @janettalkss
I was in the same club with Davido, yhemo Lee, and chief priest two days ago, does that mean I have access to them? 😂
