December 22, 1977 in a cold and rainy night in Herzliya, Israel, this beautiful girl joined her life to mine.

On this day in 1885, a Czech Jewish woman was born. A single clerk, on 23 Jul 1942 she was deported to Theresienstadt, and on 4 Aug 1942 to the Malý Trostinec extermination centre, where she was murdered. Her name was Klára Budlovská.

King Abdullah of Jordan stood at the UN last week and delivered a powerful speech against Israel’s intervention in Syria, accusing Israel of being an expansionist state.
Today, Jordan attacked southern Syria.
Don’t get me wrong: I stand with King Abdullah in this attack, and in any attack against terrorists who target Jordan.
