I've been offered some free time on the commercial supercomputer in Perth, Australia. What do I do? (And don't say mine crypto because that's just super boring)

Fun with AI but I feel creeped out about kids in AI images

It would be awesome if there was a browser extension to fill in details of job applications such as past employment, education, working rights and referees. Gets a bit tedious filling these out (and even more when something goes wrong and you have to do it all over again).

I think I would enjoy giving lectures to undergraduate students. I also think I'd find it very stressful starting out preparing for 3 different lectures a week. I really wonder how people manage to do it?

I'd love to be able to get to the Australian Statistical Conference in December, but it's expensive when I'd have to pay for it all myself due to being inbetween jobs. @ASC2023

Whatever happened to the Young Scientists of Australia? The website is gone. No active social media presence.

It's insane that @SingaporeAir takes 6-8 weeks to process a refund. It's worse because it's taken 8 months so far, as I've had to keep following up. I have been notified that a refund is coming, but not sure if I'll get the right amount due to a display glitch on the website.

In saying this, I wouldn't recommend bothering to learn Perl unless it's specifically required. 😂

Today I lost my sushi roll to a seagull who snatched it right out of my hands. (At Southern Cross Station)

ChatGPT can't seem to play chess. The board was in the same state beforehand, didn't correctly process my first move, and didn't have its turn. #ChatGPT

I booked a flight with Singapore Airlines last year that I cancelled beforehand in September, but I have not yet received any refund. The tickets state a $130 booking cancellation fee for each way. Not happy. @SingaporeAir

Trying to contact them again today, but the form wouldn't match my flight reference with my ticket number. I'll probably need to upgrade my phone plan to call their Singapore number (I'm in Australia).

Looking for part time work in statistics/data science in Melbourne. Particularly interested in data visualisation. I'm a decent R coder too, having worked on 2 released R packages (exSTRa and rwarrior). #RStats #Melbourne #Statistics #DataScience #employment
