Probably. But in previous elections she won some did expect it. Hmmm
Pretty much nobody in Maine thinks Susan Collins is going to lose.

According to the Palestinian Authority's official school textbooks for grades 6 through 9:
• The Canaanites were Arabs
• Palestine grew tomatoes and potatoes in the 600s
• Muslims invented zero and reached America in the 800s
• The Third Crusade was in 1291, sent by "Britain"
• George Washington declared independence at the "Third Philadelphia Congress"
• World War I was fought by the Axis
• Israel burned al-Aqsa
• A terrorist who killed 13 children on a bus killed "soldiers"
• Ancient Israel did not exist
This is what UNRWA and PA schools are teaching to children.
Let's take a journey through the Palestinian Authority's fantasy world.

Massive concession: Los Angeles election officials just told a federal court they have no independent way to verify citizenship beyond what voters attest. (They simply take their word for it.) Under federal law, only citizens may vote in federal elections. Yet California has not acted on the list of 20,000 suspected noncitizens or agreed to set aside their ballots. American citizens’ votes are being diluted in California.

Last night, the 3-year-old came into our room at 3:30 am, whimpering, because she'd had a bad dream.
The terrifying nightmare in question? It was her older sister's birthday, but somehow, THERE WAS NO CAKE!
Last week, two Columbia students dared to offer a dissenting opinion on the Cornell case—they got death threats and were told they should not be allowed to speak.
@Nikos_Mohammadi and Christina Ma argued no more than that students should think before arriving at sweeping conclusions about a complex case, and that it was infantilizing to suggest women could not make decisions they might later regret.
None of their detractors have so-far been able to offer a coherent response to their arguments—except making personal attacks and saying they should not be allowed to speak. In that regard, they've already won the argument.

Alina Habba and the 40 thieves ?
SCOOP: Julio Herrera Velutini, a Venezuelan billionaire, really wanted a pardon. He got it not long after his daughter hired Alina Habba, a lawyer close to Trump, in a deal worth more than $50 million. Habba was also working at DOJ at the time.

I love all the comments below telling me how I wasn’t teaching when using scripts. I guess my students’ scores and the success they experienced were staged.
That whole National Direct Instruction conference, where DI aficionados get together and practice teaching?
NOT teaching!
Actors use scripts. Musicians use sheet music. Surgeons follow established procedures.
Why are scripts for teachers treated as an affront to professionalism?
@ehanford explains why Direct Instruction uses them.

As E. Digby Baltzell wrote in his 1988 essay "The WASPs Last Gasp":
Elizabeth Holmes is an outlier but she’s part of a whole spectrum through which our society has become way too indulgent — in business, politics, policy, media, and beyond — of people who lie to or mislead others.
