The ad was bad, and it’s still gnawing at my soul. I am ashamed I downplayed it instead of just calling it what it is - mean and punching down on a marginalized group. I am grateful for the ecosystem devs and artists that immediately called it what it is both publicly and privately. You are the only silver lining to this whole mess.

- a federal appellate court held that immutable smart contracts cannot be sanctioned;

Vitalik and friends were ofshore and ran the ico ofshore. Had the ethereum ico been done it in the US, all those 80% of tokens that were sold a year before the product was live would have been under US regs, and they would all be in the “insider” part of the pie chart.

This is all @maxresnick and Jito and paladin and temporal and dflow talk about. This area has the most competition and investment out of all solana infra. The whole multiple concurrent leaders design is to deal with this at scale so decentralized sequencers can ultimately offer better spreads to users then any centralized one can achieve.
Basically the next best thing to announcing Solana is not a security.

If you're still using Coinbase as a Solana person — you are either lazy or stupid
This is embarrassing, no other exchange has this issue — i know how the coinbase systems work, I know how Ledger and the indexers work — this is beyond incompetence at this point, 13 incidents in 2 months
Stop using Coinbase Exchange, stop using Coinbase Custody, stop all products
If using exchange, move to Jupiter, Backpack, Infinex, Hyperliquid, Kraken, or OKX instead
If using custody, use Anchorage, Bitgo, or Squads instead

Solana just did $12.3B in DEX volume over the last 24 hours.
More than all other chains combined and more volume than any chain has ever done in one day.
It handled the President of the United States launching a coin with no problem.
It has become the first chain in crypto history whose growth isn’t being hampered by scaling issues and is handling the demand coming its way.
A massive engineering feat in a short period of time if you remember how badly the chain struggled a few years ago under load.
It remains very undervalued and will continue to rerate upwards in line with its growing fundamentals and network adoption.
And if you fudded the bottom last week, then you should probably find something better to do with your time, because I don’t think crypto is for you.
