Battlefield 6 sales didn't either do 1. Didn't even make up for the red in actual losses in 2025 or 2. Numbers for sales are being slightly exaggerated or falsely represented.
I still think DICE will be hit by layoffs 12 months down the road. Because your know the CEO needs his $38.6 million bonus and will probably make Battlefield 7 by himself

Apart from BioWare (Mass Effect), Maxis (The Sims), Full Circle (Skate) and Respawn (Apex Legends), #Battlefield developers Ripple Effect and Motive Studio have also been targeted by EA during sweeping layoffs.
EA's internal memo - first made public by Bloomberg - failed to specify which other studios would be affected. Vertical Slice has since reported that Motive Studio and Ripple Effect are among EA's targets, citing multiple LinkedIn posts by laid-off staff.
This has been corroborated by posts from Character Artist (Corey Thomas), Technical Animator (Juan Meza), and Technical Artist (Turner Spring) from Ripple Effect and posts from Concept Artist (Brandon Le) and Senior Gameplay Designer (Jamieson Shearer) from Motive Studio.

The new round of cuts includes the elimination of 400 roles across EA. 50 workers were affected at BioWare. The other 350 job cuts come from Maxis, Full Circle, Respawn, Ripple Effect and Motive Studio.

Its been 10 years since Battlefield 1 released Lots of core memories in meeting people in the Battlefield community and becoming best buds to this day. It was also one of the first games I streamed.
I know Battlefield 1 gets a bad wrap for gun play mechanics but it's really one of the most beautiful and "immersive" games you'll ever play. I managed to capture the Behemoth falling last night and it was just awesome from a PC perspective. @ItzaPizzaFPS @Standingfast85

I played the new season 5 of Battlefield 6. Even with the 2 new maps it just meh. I think watching paint dry on a wall is more fun than this game at this point.
Guess I'm trying to understand its been almost 1 whole year since Battlefield 6 release, they are a "AAA" company and we still are waiting on server browsers? Holy shit dude its hilarious how much money they waste redoing things the last 3 Battlefield titles.
