Sacking quarterbacks legally in the NFL requires consent, ass out embrace, a gentle put-down on the ground, while whispering “you’re special, different, and better than everyone else,” and if there’s time, a light kiss on the forehead.

Tom Brady complaining about "questionable" hits on a QB is rich. Knowing damn well he's a major reason these calls exist now...

make 15 yard penalties reviewable. if they take more than 30 seconds to review, leave the call stand. it's that easy. just fix the objectively incorrect calls. help the referees out!
Owen Riese@RieseDraftOct 19
at a certain point, there just has to be some level of accountability with the referees. that's just blatantly not violating a rule. a subjective call that's objectively wrong.

i know i’m a boomer for saying this - but this is why i can’t take the NBA seriously anymore. Guys have never been more talented, and the rules have never been looser. Why should i take this seriously?

Some impressive performances across D3 football in Week 6. @LogHanRatings and I sat down to recognize three coaches and staffs and discuss the preparation behind their wins. @CoachKosanovich (Illinois Wesleyan) on reinforcing fundamentals and developing players who can coach each other. @_CoachSwider (Wheaton) on purposeful practice reps and the defensive performance that helped knock off No. 1 North Central. @Ryan_Munz (UW-Platteville) on weekly structure, managing workloads, and preparing the entire program for success. Plus, a bonus conversation with Trinity HC @CoachDevanney on adapting your defensive scheme to your personnel. D3 Coaches and Coordinators of the Week presented by Hansen Ratings. Player safety is a big priority for the NFL! Also, make sure to check out the game tonight, where two teams play their 2nd professional football game in 96 hours!

NFL to Steelers fans in Paris: It’s not safe enough for us to host a Steelers fan party. But the game will be fine. And awesome. And there’s nothing to worry about.
