Researchers estimate that if the top 1% of Americans paid the full amount of taxes they owed, it would raise $175 billion a year.
That’s just UNPAID taxes. Not new or higher taxes.

9 December 1885 | Jewish man, Tanchum Arsch, was born in the Russian Empire (today Jēkabpils in Latvia). In 1914 he emigrated to Norway. A watchmaker.
He arrived at #Auschwitz on 1 December 1942 and was murdered in a gas chamber after arrival selection.

On December 9, 1993, the @LAKings and Mighty Ducks of Anaheim played in a charity game to raise money for victims affected by the Laguna Beach and Malibu fires. The benefit helped raise $250,000 for the Red Cross chapters in Los Angeles and Orange County.

9 December 1938 | A French Jewish boy, Simon Boruchowicz, was born in Paris.
He arrived at #Auschwitz on 19 August 1942 in a transport of 998 Jews deported from #Drancy. He was among 897 of them murdered in gas chambers after the selection.

.@CNN @cnni Please correct the caption. First of all the people in the picture are Hungarian Jews at the Auschwitz II-Birkenau camp, but there are not prisoners.
These are Jewish women and children who went throught the selection process after arrival and are about to be murdered in a gas chamber. Most of Jews deported to Auschwitz never became prisoners of the camp but were killed immediately after selection made by SS doctors.
Secondly, please remember that the Auschwitz camp was not located in Poland, but in the Polish territory that in 1939 was occupied by Nazi Germany and was directly annexed byinto the Third Reich.
