How many of y'all have actually done a full all-levels run of Super Mario Bros?
It's actually fairly challenging. Feels really good to do.

So I beat Super Mario Bros. and it’s…. a staple of gaming history for a reason. It has such absurd concepts so iconic we don’t even question it today and with great enemy/level variety. My only issue is Mario always feels a bit slippery. 8/10
My Star Wars canon/enjoyment tier list.
For as much flak as I give Disney, some good (even great) projects came out of them.
The "Sort of" tier is the asterisk. Solo is good but needs changes; Mando's first season is fine; the true ANIME Visions are great, but not the others.
Some have said that the abstinence rules for the Jedi were needed because of how thin the threshold is for one to cross over to the Dark, but Luke fully proved that the true strength of a Jedi is also in his ability to control those attachments, not ignore them all together.
Storywriters, some cliches aren’t cliches because they’re actually payoff points in a genre.
Subverting just to subvert won’t save a story, it’ll only date it instantly.
Instead, think about HOW you build to those moments to give them new weight.
I have so many posts I want to make about the Jedi Order, beliefs, Council, Anakin/Obi-Wan, and more.
That’s why the Prequels, especially RotS, are so good. I don’t care about the “lacking artistic quality” if I get THIS MUCH mileage out of a story. Endless discussion potential.

On that note, I think this scene is where Obi-wan truly epitomized the Jedi way
He has every reason to hate and want Anakin dead
But in the end his words disparaging him aren’t of anger, but grief and sorrow at what his little brother has become
He loved all his brothers and sisters, and he grieves them, but he accepts they’re gone and doesn’t give into hate

Without doing a deep dive like I did for The Last Jedi, I still am confident that Rise of Skywalker has twice as many flaws and stupid goofs. I have a sizable list of issues already.
I’m too scared to do a full rewatch-analysis though.
Got fired up writing about Obi-Wan and wanted to expand on him and give a brief tie-in of some of the Jedi Order's failures. Check it out if you're interested.

The more you dive into the books and really analyze the movies, the more you realize just how much Obi-Wan remained the most solid, consistent, honorable man of all, even understanding the Force in a more healthy manner than Yoda, Windu, or the rest of the Jedi Council.
But he doesn’t blindly accept the Council’s view of its omnipotence either. He acknowledges that what may come to pass may come to pass, but he doesn’t relent to “fate”.
The Kenobi novel also shows his musings on how accurate the Council was on the Force’s role in one’s life.
