Now that Wings of Bluestar is available, it’s worth reiterating a key fact that defines every one of our releases: the full game is on the disc. No mandatory updates, no internet connection required, just a complete playable experience from the moment you boot up the game to years down the line.
If you value true ownership of complete physical games, now is the time to support them!

Watching things did NOT use to be an endorsement. Back in the day, we didn't watch Ninja Scroll going "I support attacking Villages with BEES". It was understood those were just movies. Now, you have to internalize that, & be "The Demon Bee Guy Apologist" & that's your life now.

One of the standout features of our Elite Editions is the included 24-page booklet. More than just a manual, it’s packed with behind-the-scenes details, concept art, and messages from the developer that give fans a deeper look into the game’s creation.
The Risk System Elite Edition is extremely limited in quantity, so don’t miss your chance to add this premium release to your collection!

Beyond its fast-paced, risk-filled gameplay, Risk System also features a full anime-style opening. Like classic anime intros, it quickly sets up the story, introduces the cast, and does it all over a high-energy track. It feels like the start of a 12-episode series, maybe even a full two-cour run!

Love the game but need to report some regular run ruining soft locks
1.) If you have 5x enemy spawn in Jaroba and get to the pre arena hallway where enemies hide behind pillars some enemy gets stuck off screen somewhere causing a soft lock...
2. With 5x enemy spawn if you go to Yeldrim and get the laser runway area (before the Interloper) the game freezes during the cutscene...

We can't wait to see this love letter to beat-em-ups release soon!
Being an indie studio that strictly makes it's own games is unlikely to be a lucrative pursuit. The payout for such a venture on a not mega hit release is maybe just above a single person's yearly salary at any entry level position that requires you to wear dress pants...
This is why you see studios that previously had a mega hit going under. If their product was a unique vision that happened to catch fire at release that is a lucky break, a feast that interrupts the famine. And this stuff takes a lot of time and effort to make between releases...
There's actually a pretty simple reason for this...nobody plans to take a dump at a public restroom anywhere. If they find they have to take a shit that tends to mean it was unexpected and what kind of poop tends to be unexpected?
I will lovingly continue making games for nobody thank you very much.
(I'm not disregarding our appreciators, I'm just steadfast to my commitment to never do market research)

I dont think theres a single phrase that is as diametrically opposed to how I view making games and why I do this stuff than "here's the meta that's printing right now"

The meta that’s printing right now: Friendslop (co-op chaos with proximity chat).
Think: “have fun with friends, dumb moments, constant clips.”
This genre is insane on Steam because it’s BUILT for short-form content and streams.

Since people on here have yet to steer me wrong with pc recommendations...I'm looking to buy a desktop for music and audio production. Are there good prefab models with this in mind? Can handle DAWS without overheating, possibly actual audio inputs like the good old days?
