Hearty congratulations to @m_khalayleh! A brilliant student who was a pleasure to supervise from start to finish. An outstanding thesis which sits at the interface of theology, philosophy & science (abstract below) & should attract a wide readership. Can't wait to see it in print
Congratulations to our student Moamer Khalayleh for passing his PhD with 2 very small corrections. Thesis title: Engaging contemporary atheism through the conceptual tools of Ash’ari theology @IslamUKCentre @RiyazTimol

I just read @RiyazTimol's article on M. Tariq Jamil. This is first major study on Pakistan's leading, & one of the world's most popular, Muslim preachers. The article is original, theoretically sophisticated, and elegantly written. I highly recommend it!👇

Just published by @RiyazTimol - mdpi.com/2077-1444/14/1/60 A biography and sociological analysis of the life and work of Maulana Tariq Jamil. It's so well researched but also, like everything Riyaz writes, a really enjoyable read.
