Worked on NHL2Night 1 yr and on SportsCenter after. Barry was the absolute best. So many stories +tributes from not just those in front of the camera but behind the scenes too. Every person mattered. Shared the game with so many. Iconic in front of the camera, a hero behind it.

You treated every person the same. You treated them like they were special. In front of camera, more importantly, behind the camera. That’s you. All the way.
You had an infectious laugh, and smile and energy, and that won’t be matched. Ever. Love ya.

Barry was my best friend at ESPN. A big brother figure of rock solid values. I am shook to my core. Barry gave his life to hockey and some of his ESPN family, like me, learned of his shocking death today while at a hockey rink in Las Vegas preparing for the upcoming season. Chilling and fitting--the rink was Barry's home. A more beloved ESPN institution there has not been. We love you, Barry. Forever.
Great job by @NatalieKerwin1 our former @BigTenNetwork studio intern! Love to see it.
I made $35 a game as a grip for PSU Basketball broadcasts.

For the record, they did not melt under quite warm conditions. @BTNDaveRevsine held them for the entire 8 minute interview. Pro.
Also, they were delicious. Thanks @coachfitz51 @MSU_Football!
Nothing like some Melting Moments ice cream sandwiches to start off the Training Camp Show with @MSU_Football 🍦
Really appreciated the hospitality from @PennStateFball today. Interviews worth watching. Coming up tonight at 10p ET and re-airing throughout the month.
Man, that is different then the last time I was at @BadgerFootball
Our home in Pgh had bunk beds. I woke up on 6/22/96 to the ESPN2 ticker “Pens trade Sergei Zubov…” then it changed. Kevin Effing Hatcher. I jumped off the bed in disgust. A chunk of 1920’s lath board ceiling fell in the dining room downstairs. I lied to my mom on why I jumped.

Linda deserves all the accolades she’s getting. Incredible run. A pleasure to work with. A hero to young women and men who aspired to work in the business. All the best @lindacohn!
"What I'm most proud of is that my career lasted long enough for me to see little girls grow up watching @SportsCenter, enter this business & succeed in it."
