Hmmm…can’t say I’m overly surprised by the BAFTAs choice for winner of Best Film. Though I haven’t seen it myself so may not be in the best position to judge I just can’t help but feel they’re playing it safe…

Especially considering some of the other films that were contending: both Banshees of Inishirin & Everything, Everywhere All At Once strike me as more deserving then yet another war movie.

Again, no mention of Nope anywhere which is incredibly disappointing.

So, I’ve been rather quiet on here for the last few months & obviously haven’t been producing any comics work & felt it about time to explain why…this is a bit heavy so bear with me…

But rest assured, SurrealsVille will return. I have so many ideas I’m playing with & can’t wait for you all to see them but I have to allow myself time to heal.
So, wish me luck, people-hoping to be returning to full strength-& comics work-soon!

I recently read the below @Independent article which led me to discover @ladycariad & I can’t recommend her work enough: her podcast ‘GriefCast’ is absolutely fantastic & is helping get me through some tough times right now.
