Matthew 7:5 (NIV): "You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye." - Jesus Christ, the grand master of #whataboutery. Only on Twitter is exposing hypocrisy not a virtue - don't accept it.

Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon was nothing more than Bibi’s sales pitch to get us into the war.
This obvious reality is a punchline in Israel.
Time to end our public humiliation.
End the war.
End our lopsided relationship with Israel.
I was brought up in an American Baptist church that distributed Jack Chick's propaganda.
Later on it gave me a perspective on how fear was used in the Cold War.
"Before joining the banking lobby, Pryor spent seven years working in strategy at the Commonwealth Bank."
What does one do working "in strategy" at CBA?
Strategise how CBA can get away with screwing customers?
ON supported the 2018 banking royal commission; would it today?
This smarmy wanker has conned the Americans into thinking he's some kind of expert on China.
The only thing he's an expert on is sucking up to the US.
Everyone who really knows China knows he's a fraud.
The number one way to prevent a war over Taiwan is DON'T LISTEN TO RUDD!

While I was learning Chinese, we used to love the Confucius Institute because they'd give us free text books so we didn't have to buy them from the university.
I remember in my city, the Confucius Institute had native Chinese speaking volunteers who could help with our study, and practice chatting and so on.
When it was time for Chinese exams, which are super difficult for native English speakers, they'd do their best to help us go over our class material etc.
Absolutely invaluable.
Sometimes we could also take classes making dumplings and traditional fans and other arts. It was fun because you could learn new Chinese words and phrases at the same time.
And I can tell you this: never once was politics brought up, let alone anything else apart from our study.
Seeing that the US has classified Confucius Institutes as a national security risk literally made me laugh out loud.
Honestly, what is up with the US and why are they adament on accelerating their own descent so freaking quickly?
We've always known that the West, especially the US-led West, was declining, but I could never have guessed it would happen this fast, and it would be completely and utterly at their own hand.
The US is scared of shadows, and it's freaking hilarious. 🤣

Australia’s Energy Crisis: Who Controls Our Fuel and Power? | Citizens Report 22 October 2026
Australia’s fuel security and control over our natural resources are at the heart of this week’s Citizens Report. Elisa Barwick and Richard Bardon examine how Australia went from producing and refining much of its own fuel to relying heavily on imports, and what this means for fuel supplies, diesel prices and the cost of living. They explore Australia’s untapped energy resources, the potential to produce fuel from gas and brown coal, and the consequences of privatising electricity and gas.

22 October 2026—MEDIA RELEASE—Post office breakthrough
The Senate inquiry is extended to March—time for hearings in impacted communities.
After weeks of concerned citizens contacting the Senate committee inquiring into post office closures, asking for the inquiry not to be rushed but to hold hearings in communities impacted by losing their post offices, the committee has listened and extended the inquiry until 16 March.
The Citizens Party is calling on the Committee to immediately do two things to facilitate the inquiry:
1. Issue an interim report based on the evidence obtained from Australia Post and LPO Group, that makes clear Australia Post’s agenda to close post offices has been exposed, and the Committee considers Australia Post management to have misled the inquiry;
2. Direct Australia Post to immediately pause any further post office closures—such as the Innaloo, WA post office scheduled to close this Friday—until the inquiry is completed and the Committee has been able to publish its findings in the final report.

That's Chris Murphy on the left behind John McCain. They were at a rally in Ukraine in 2013 to help the right wing forces overthrow the elected president. The guy on the right, Oleh Tyahnybok, is a neo Nazi.
