Difficult for anyone not at Stoke yesterday to understand how bad the conditions were for both teams. Stoke much the better team first 20 but after that it was even and we looked most likely to score late on. Some of our players are inexperienced at this level.

Mark Robins has to take responsibility for that. Bringing Hirst on instead of Bozenik is ludicrous. Bristol City were there to be spanked. Terrible team

A statement on yesterday….. Everything I said in that interview was true. However, rest assured I’m doing my best to turn things round. I have been in a mental health clinic for the last 10 weeks, finally discharging so I could attempt to play in Belfast I owed that to my family, in particular my daughter to see me play for what could be the last time….. I also owed it to the fans who have supported me throughout my 21 years on tour I also owed that to World Snooker who have been amazing from day on in all this, in particular Simon Brownell and Neil Tomkins who have remained in touch regularly, even Simon paying me a visit in the clinic itself I’m not ok, but I’m ok in that itself. I’ve been much worse in the last few months than you saw yesterday. I literally didn’t see a future in anything….. My daughter kept me going, the therapists, staff and all the other patients were amazing and helped me through some really dark days I see the light now that I couldn’t see before but I do now. I also know it won’t happen overnight. I’m a work in progress!!! My fight and determination on the table has always been there for ones to see. I need to show those same fighting qualities off it now for a while Please don’t detract anything from Jordan yesterday, he’s been aware of my struggles and that can’t have been easy to play in but he handled it with grace and skill as I knew he would. Im proud to call him a friend I hope the rest of the event is a success and I will continue my treatments going forward and then see what’s ahead Thank you to every single message I have received on here, instagram, Facebook, text messages and WhatsApp’s, I’ve seen them all but a bit overwhelmed to reply right now. Just know that they have helped me a lot but I’m not going anywhere just yet!!!! I have so much to live for and this is only the beginning of my new journey Also, I was not made to do any interviews, I was simply given a choice and felt I owed it to everyone to speak. The media team at WST have been incredible through all this too Thank you all x

Ah man. This is so hard to watch. Just glad he can talk about it. It’s not gonna be the answer but at least he knows he’s not alone💔❤️

I really hate moaning. But… I just can’t believe the wingers when they had the ball, needing to turn back and give it to the back 4 who played it back and forth to one another only to lump it to no one!! I’m still behind them all tho. It’s just all very frustrating.

I feel really sorry for Ballard. He was really trying in a game that gave him nothing, absolutely nothing. And he was the one that showed the passion, when we won a corner!!! Just a totally confusing performance.

Diagonal balls? How many did we win today alone? That was a dreadfully inept performance. Fuming cause the players are so much better than they are being allowed to show.

If you roll the red carpet out at home, you get what you deserve. Teams love to come here. Without staying the obvious, that HAS to change. 4 losses at home already is pretty damn gutless. Head out your asses. Get the basics right. Get the blood boiling cause mine is.

Someone clatter someone ffs. There’s literally no heart, no blood pumping at all. Head out your ass and concentrate on doing the basics.

Decent result. Felt we should have won it. Ref and linseman were miles off but we didn’t lose. But what a fantastic weekend away. The boys are as immature as us. The way it should be💪🏻 Up the City❤️🍺

I know this isn’t a silver bullet. It might help some people find cheaper fuel, but it doesn’t mean that’s all we’re doing to help people with the cost of living. We’re cutting VAT on electricity bills. Capping bus fares at £2 in England. Giving disabled people 24/7 free bus travel. Making it easier to cancel subscriptions. Cutting business rates for pubs, clubs and music venues. Stopping schools from demanding endless expensive branded uniforms. Ensuring if your train is cancelled, you can use your ticket on other operators free of charge. Fuel duty is staying frozen to the end of the year. Yes, on their own, I accept that these things don’t seem like much when people’s lives have gotten harder. There’s a lot still to do. But I won’t shy away from the big issues either. It’s why I made announcements last week on more public control of water, energy, and housing, to make the basics better for people long-term. Together, these changes add up, and no matter how small it may seem, I will pull every single lever I can to help people, whenever I can.
