I’ve noticeably improved the gameplay and visual presentation of my game *Breakup* and added a higher being as a surprise. So, go ahead and play. 🥰 #gamedev #solodev #indiegame #sdl roblib.itch.io/breakup
In the near future, there will be two types of developers: those who use AI for development, and those who lie about not using AI, just to please people who hate it. There is no turning back now. Pandora’s box has been opened. 🤔
After listening to TS, I can’t get one song out of my head, it’s been playing on a loop for days. Back to December. It’s such a well-written song. I can’t believe TS wrote it at the age of 20. It sounds like something she wrote today, with the benefit of so much more experience.
We keep hearing about how AI has harmed certain libraries, but I’ve just discovered that the ORM Drizzle has grown tremendously thanks to AI, and it certainly deserves it! I still use Prisma, but I’ll definitely be taking a closer look at Drizzle. 🤔
I want this to be on the record: I have several unused RAM modules sitting in a drawer, and Sam Altman will never get them. 🤔
I’ve never seen an app redesigned as constantly as Duolingo. Pages and navigation keep moving around, then back, then somewhere else, then back again. Things don’t have to be perfect. Sometimes stability and familiarity are better for usability than endless chaos. 🤔
How long until someone reverse-engineers and vibe-codes the entirety of Windows 11? And actually makes it usable? 😅
It seems to me that all successful indie games have to feature cards or dice. So, in "Mara: The Unfinished Verse", there will be a dice game! It takes place in a pub, and there will be beer. Beer is mandatory, it’s a Czech game, after all! 🍺🍻 #indiegame #gamedev
I’m launching a new iOS app, which means I’ll now have to deal with new marketing tools, new images, and adaptations for the iPhone Duo, things I absolutely love doing. Bazinga!
Reddit losing users to AI is part of a bigger problem. If people use AI instead of Google, answers need links, recommendations, and paths back to sources. AI can't keep cannibalizing the web without hurting itself: valuable sources will retreat behind paywalls or block AI. 🤔
I started watching the series "Crystal Lake", a "Friday the 13th" prequel set in 1972, and I’m absolutely blown away by the production quality; it looks exactly as if it had actually been filmed back then. Fantastic. 🥰
I dislike that stores require AI-use disclosure. I get the player's perspective, but I made games before AI and now use it as a great tool. I could still do it without AI, it would just take much longer. Why is AI-assisted game development treated as a separate category? #gamedev
Google's stock dropped 12%, and apparently AI is to blame. But everyone has it wrong. It's actually my fault, because every time I buy shares in a company, it immediately goes through tough times. I'm sorry. 😢
My game had the working title Fortress, but now it will be called Mara: The Unfinished Verse. 🤔
Mara, a musician, a muse, and a guide to the player. Any resemblance to a real person is purely coincidental. 🙃 #indiegame #gamedev #SDL3
At my day job, I’m organized, but when I develop a game for fun, it’s total chaos and anarchy. I had already written the story for the game, but then I decided to incorporate Czech legends, poems, and fairy tales, so now I have to rewrite everything from scratch. 😅 #gamedev

My game will feature horror, terror, and plenty of Czech spooks! The Wedding Shirt... 😱 #indiegame #gamedev #SDL3
