The YouTube automation era is over. Automated channels are getting demonetised for “generic and repetitive content” Even those protected by big media networks. This is only the start. AI videos are getting cheaper to make every month. YouTube’s checks will get stricter every month too combat an inflow of near identical videos. By 2027, any channel without a real host will be at risk. Put yourself in your videos. You won't regret it.

JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon mocks The Economist during a tense exchange after being told he’s sounding like Trump: “I’m not Trumpian. I’m factual.” 🇺🇸 Interviewer: “You’re sounding Trumpy.” Jamie Dimon: “I’m not Trumpian. I’m factual. I don’t agree with this binary shit that goes on all the time. I think The Economist is the absolute best, most admirable thing in the world, and you should continue that.” Dimon delivers the last line with apparent sarcasm, poking fun at the publication while pushing back against the idea that agreeing with Trump on certain issues makes him a Trump supporter.

Go see it if you are a SF fan. Good or bad, you are the target audience. And when someone targets your interests, you should encourage them to continue to do so with your money (as long as its made with love, and the SF movie clearly is).

Most people protect their reputation and neglect their character. Backwards. You can’t control what people think of you. You can control who you are. Fix the input, and the output tends to follow.

People think I’m too paranoid about Final Destination… I say I’m not paranoid enough…
Holy crap that was wild. I’m so grateful for the magic of AI today. Driving my family back to Texas from the Bama game, munching on a sandwich. Suddenly I see a radial saw blade upright and rolling in my lane. I can’t stop or swerve safely, so I make sure it avoids my tires and I straddle it. We hear a crash and all stop breathing as we brace for the repercussions. No flat tire. No weird noises. We’re good, right? Wrong. A minute later we smell gas. Uh oh. Well we had just filled up RIGHT before then. Maybe I spilled on myself? Nope. This was too strong. We rolled the windows down, took the next exit and pulled into the Dollar General in Cheniere, Louisiana. GAS WAS DRIPPING EVERYWHERE. Crap crap crap. It was 100% full, too. The leak was right on the edge of the tank, making it even more tricky. It was a puncture and a gash. How do you stop a leak as it’s leaking? Whereas flextape when I need it? Lol What to do? Say a prayer and then ask Claude. Claude told me to rub a bar of soap into the hole. Huh?? Soap? Ok bro. So I got the same soap I showered with this morning and rubbed it all up in the openings as gas dripped down into my elbow. It stopped. Just like that. Then go get JB Weld from inside Dollar General. So I got that plus duct tape, a couple towels, sandpaper, paper towels and duct tape. I mixed the putty together, scratched the surface of the tank for better bonding, dried it all off and applied the putty with a plastic knife. Then let it dry, then another layer, then let it dry and harden. Then covered it with duct tape, for good measure. It’s been bone dry ever since. I’ve been stopping periodically to check and we’re almost home. Tomorrow it goes to the Toyota dealership. Today I’m grateful for prayer, and AI.

a YouTube appeal isn't a plea for mercy. it's a FORM, & most people fill it out wrong... the reviewer doesn't "hate you" bro. and a RANT gets a rejection.. terminations for "spam & deceptive practices", community guidelines terminations & wrongful fraud or spam suspensions get REVERSED w/ the same structure. 4 moves, every time here's the appeal template, & why every line of it is there the template: "dear YouTube Policy Review Team, i am appealing the termination of the channel [channel name] under [exact policy named in the termination email]. i have reviewed the [policy name] in full, & the channel does not violate it [one line on how the content is made: original scripts, research, voiceover, editing, time spent per video.] specifically, the channel does not fall under any of the listed categories: [category 1]: [one sentence denying it, w/ a fact] [category 2]: [one sentence denying it, w/ a fact] [category 3]: [one sentence denying it, w/ a fact] i respectfully ask for a manual review of the channel. thank you for your time [name]" that's the entire appeal 1. the policy is named the reviewer opens your appeal already knowing the termination reason. echoing their exact category back tells them you read the email & the policy page. "Spam, Deceptive Practices, or Misleading Content" is a category. "You banned me for no reason" is NOISE compare to: "I don't know what I did wrong." that line tells the reviewer you never checked, so they won't either 2. every violation gets its own denial the spam policy is a list. video spam, misleading metadata or thumbnails, scams & incentivization spam, sending viewers off YouTube, sub4sub. the appeals that win walk that list line by line & kill each item w/ a fact "All titles, thumbnails and descriptions match the content of the video" beats "the content is high quality" every time, because it maps to ONE box the reviewer has to tick only deny what the channel actually didn't do. the reviewer can check the metadata against the denial, & a FALSE one hands them the reason to uphold the termination 3. the tone is calm no caps, no "this is ridiculous", no threats to go viral on X about it. the person reading sits in a queue of angry appeals. a cold, formal one reads like it came from a business, & a business gets the benefit of the doubt 4. it's short count the template. one opening line, one line on production, one line per category, one ask. the reviewer gets through it in a single pass compare to the long life story about how much the channel means to you. nobody at YouTube is paid to care about that. they're paid to check boxes wrongful fraud or spam suspension? same 4 moves. swap the category list for the specific claim in the email, & deny it w/ the fact that disproves it write it like a CHECKLIST, because that's exactly how it gets read

You solve editing and packaging now. If you’re Faceless then your issues on YouTube beyond strategy will be COMPLIANCE and Copyright. For most of these channels their problems will be the policy changes. For channels that show their face and make human centered content… As longs as you don’t use copyright material from other people… The problems and the way you stand out will be personality and production. Some of you will hold yourself back from what will work either because of your personality… Or you will be held back by physical production constraints… If one is willing to use the tools available and comply with policy… All that is left is a good idea and the execution of it.

I have a small business with 20 employees. We no longer offer health benefits to the employees due to the insane costs. I’m self insured now and have 3 kids. Paying $2650/month for basically catastrophe coverage. Stupid high deductibles that need to be met before they cover much of anything and copays for doctor visits are like $60. Half the meds they prescribe to my wife for asthma aren’t covered and we end up paying out of pocket to get her the meds she likes that the insurance won’t cover. It’s a total sham. I make a very good living but I can’t see how most folks can afford a monthly bill like that.

This title change added 1.24M views to a 3-month-old video. Before: “Meccha Chameleon In Real Life!” After: “I Painted Objects To Camouflage Them” Why did it work? Every time you upload, YouTube shows your video to your core audience first. These are the people who already know your channel and niche. To people in the gaming community, Meccha Chameleon is so well known that it takes them just one glance to understand the video's premise. But if the video keeps performing, YouTube pushes it further out to people who may not fit your niche perfectly. Someone who only occasionally watches gaming videos may not know what Meccha Chameleon is. “I Painted Objects To Camouflage Them” fixes that. → Anyone can understand it in 2 seconds → It says exactly what happens in the video → It matches the thumbnail Specific titles win clicks from your core audience and niche. General titles win everyone else. So if an older video of yours is still being pushed to new people, check whether your title makes enough sense to get them to click.

A CMS was never a magical shield against demonetization. It doesn't exempt you from youtube s policies. It's just an extra layer of support and security, not a guarantee that your channel is safe. I had the exact same issue with one of my other channels last week (not AI stories tho). Despite being with a "well known" CMS, the channel got demonetized. (I appealed and got monetization back.) I've worked with 3–4 CMSs so far, and honestly, most of them are useless and don't make much of a difference, especially when you're already making safe, low-risk content. The main reason I use a CMS is for the available payment methods. The only one I've had an exceptional experience with is @wannercashcow, ngl. I'm not his student, and this isn't a promotion. His team actually takes care of my channels, keeps me updated on youtube policies and changes, and warns me about potential issues. I've been with them for over 6 months and haven't had a single issue. A CMS is never a magical miracle, if you're making risky content or pumping out AI stories on scale, just take that bag and run
Youtube is coming after CMS channels. Managed O&O CMS will no more protect you. Just got hit with GENERIC & REPETITIVE CONTENT. Even the Partner Manager Could not get the channel Back. 20K USD gone + CMS Penalty for Demonetization. I used to Post ultra long form History documentaries with complete automation system , 3- 4 videos a day on CMS for 6 Months with no issues at all. Now they decide to come after CMS channels which used to bypass AI flags.
